The convenience of the location in South Lake Tahoe is great and the price is right. The room we had, #9, was roomy and quiet. Like any other motel, you can hear people outside, but we could not hear our neighbors above or beside us and that room only shares one wall as it is a corner room. The manager is very nice. The parking lot is a bit difficult to navigate, especially when it snows. We had about 8 inches of snow by the time we got back to the motel and you either need a 4 wheel drive, or Subaru, or have chains on your car to get throught the snow. We have a Subaru and it was a bit tough but we managed.

Excellent room 16. hot water and good heat.
Excellent customer service by Harry. Room 16 has good heat and hot water, just make sure you turn the nob to the right (C), instead of tho the left (H). Somehow it works the other way around. For the price is the best, and it’s close walking to the gondola. I will be back . Thank you Harry for you kindness.
