What an absolutely fabulous, beautiful place!!! We stayed in a 3 bedroom family lodge, it was just unbelievable. Felt so luxurious and absolutely all details were perfect, for example lovely quality toiletries. So spacious, we were 3 adults and 2 children. Immaculate stay! Washing machine and dryer in the garage were super convenient. Fully kitted kitchen. Would highly recommend.

We received an upgrade upon arrival. A couple of minor issues such as bedroom light fitting not attached to ceiling, shower fittings loose and gas fire heater not creating much heat even on high. Spacious residence in walking distance of everything. Friendly helpful staff. Overall gets a thumbs up 👍

Expensive stay

Well overpriced for what it is. Good location but not lakefront. Apartment was a good size and comfortable but there were quite a few maintenance issues, especially in the bathroom. Really lovely lady on check in, made us feel welcome straight away. A nice place to stay but not for the price tag.

Our stay was awesome!! The place is bigger than I thought and provided everything you needed and more. Cutest little back patio for afternoon sun. Fireplace below the tv was gorgeous and the bed was comfy! Can’t fault it :))

Only got to stay 1 night but we were really happy with Mantra Lake Tekapo. We had a large 2 storey house with 3 spacious rooms and good bedding options. I was impressed that it was the first place, we've stay on our entire trip, that had 2 bathrooms and 3 toilets! Much needed for a family of 5 or more. The pool was unfortunately closed for maintenance but the Tekapo Pools were not far up the road and had great views. The lake itself and main shops is close by, easy walking. So pretty! Dining is limited but a few options and there is a good grocery store there too.

Horrible communication, won't return messages

Check in was only allowed during a 3.5 hour timeframe. Luckily, I checked the fine print in the posting because they didn't include it in their email. The room setup I requested after they asked how I wanted things arranged wasn't in place. There was no shampoo in the shower, just 2 conditioners. I had tried to contact the property for 5 days prior to arrival and no replies.
