When arrived at the hotel, they assigned us a room on the third floor. When we tried getting into the room the key cards did not work. When I went back to the front desk they acted like I was stupid and said “you’re assigned to room 214 not 316” which was not what they wrote on the key card sleeve. They made it out like it was my mistake but I had the sleeve to prove they wrote 316 on it. Not a huge deal but definitely a minor inconvenience when carrying luggage through the hotel.

The property felt safe and clean even though it was in an industrial area and had very little options for dining. It was good for a one night stay, but I would search for other accomodations closer to the College in the future.

I wasn't able to purchase water at the hotel it was unavailable or they were all out. The neighborhood is the middle of know where so it doesn't feel safe to go out at 11 at night to the gas station next door to be able to buy water. The rug had an ugly stain in it in my room. The morning was loud train after train and truck after truck. Otherwise staff and hotel were okay.

Nice place to stay in Lakeland FL

The accessible walk-in shower (room 102) needs a few adjustments. 1. The grab bar on the long wall is loose and needs repair. 2. The shower floor is slippery. Maybe a mat or something to make the floor less slick would improve safety--esp. since the grab bar is loose. 3. The shower head can't reach the person sitting in the shower chair. There needs to be an adaptable hand held shower head. 4. Breakfast was excellent and a good variety of choices. 5. Staff was friendly and accommodating. 6. Hotel was very clean. Linens & Bedding were of nice quality.
