We had to ask for fresh sheets as the bedding had what looked like a dirty foot print on the comforter. Then the sheets had hair on them!! When taking a shower, the water never got over luke warm. Staff was very polite and made sure we had what we needes. Their is obvious improvements in the room and that there is construction going on.

Part of the ceiling was moldy and falling onto the floor. My daughter woke up in morning not feeling well so we left at 7am and didn’t return for our second night stay. They are remodeling it and may be better then but now it’s not good.

First night, killed a roach in my room and told them about it and they didnt seem to care. Woke up by dogs constantly barking in the hotel my whole trip. Place smelled like weed almost the whole stay. Would not ever recommend this place to anyone. Find another hotel.

Litteraly the worst property I’ve ever seen. If I co up or give it less than one star I would. They say it’s under construction but just left one small piece of equipment in the lobby so they never have to make breakfast and the reviews say it’s been that way for almost a year. The room had visible mold and smelt of it also I could barely breathe. I saw people doing drug deals in the parking lot and the entire building smelt of marijuana constantly. I also saw a cockroach upon entering my room and it was over all dirty and uncleaned. Do not ever even think of staying here.

This place was a dump. We checked out about an hour later. The whole building smelled, missing floor tiles, the rooms smelled and they were dirty,broken toilet seats, bugs,paint all over.No towels.

The hot water didn’t work. They told us couldn’t switch to another room. Would report it. Never did nothing about it. Took cold baths and my daughter and I got sick. I had mice crap on one of beds. Asked to come change it. They never did. Very disappointed in the hotel. First and last time will go there again

Nightmare stay
Staff is always pleasant here. I was still recovering from surgery & needed a good night's sleep in a warm quiet room, and hopefully to sleep in until 10am. I wasn't sure if the rickety, dirty luggage trolley would make it to the room. The second room was as equally disappointing. The counter around the sink was all scratched up like something you'd find thrown in a junk heap The bathtub has cigarette burns, the rim underneath the toilet was black & moldy, the lamp was rusty, outdated so you couldn't plug your phone . No coffee maker, no Kleenex, the fridge was iced over, and froze my food too. The doors do not fit to the floor, so you hear the dog barking at 7 am, a long with the kids left in the room arguing, shortly after u till check out time.. I am still waiting on my $100 deposit to be returned! However, it was quite the contrary! The first room was still.under remodel, so back down to the front desk I went. You could not call the front desk, as there are no phones in the rooms. No breakfast as advertised.

They didn’t let us know at check in we were sharing the room with a cockroach. He was crawling across the door before I even opened it. Needless to say I had to see how bad the room was and it didn’t disappoint.. When I opened the door in the room, beds unmade and everything tossed on top. Blinds were broken, something brown on the wall. Needless to say we canceled the room knowing we might have to sleep in my SUV because everything around was booked due to a cheerleading event in town. Finally found a nice property across town. Note to self. Stay at the chains where you know you will be safe.

Very dirty in the entry way of hotel, Doritos were all over the ground. People were hanging out outside around the entrance as well. Staff was nice, but lobby noisy due to renovations. I left because didn’t feel comfortable. I paid for insurance coverage. It was credited back to my account and the money for the hotel was kept.

Ok stay. Overall the cleanliness wasn’t the best as there was mold on the walls as well as a strong mold smell; half of the blinds were missing, we saw a few “bugs” and ants, there was broken appliances such as the headboard and the handles for the faucets, there was also an old froot loop stuck to the wall, the ac unit Is burned out and old, It looks like people live there, etc. I could go on. Overall, the staff were very nice and the area around the hotel Is nice as there are a lot of places to dine and shop that are walking distance as well as a gas station and It’s quite and safe.

False advertisement! It was the opposite of everything that they had us to believe.……… The lobby was under construction, the workers equipment was scattered in the middle of the walkway, no free breakfast, other guest tracked water from the pool throughout the hotel which almost caused me and my sister to fall, kids ran up and down the hallway all night until around 3’O Clock in the morning, guest in adjoining room fought all night, hotel employees were hanging out in front of the hotel near the front entrance using profanity, causing a disturbance, smoking (non-smoking hotel), the lamp and tv were on the floor and not on a desk or nightstand. I was told by staff that some of the rooms don’t come with those items, no tv remote, half cleaned room, roaches and rude staff.…. This hotel doesn’t deserve a 1-star. If there was such thing as a 0-star. That is what I would rate this hotel. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone!

New ownership and remodeling!!
Hurricane stay hotel under remodel paint fumes on all floors. Would have thought they would remodel a floor at a time. Overall very nice staff and basically comfortable. New ownership hotel changing of name forthcoming. Pet friendly is a very great asset!!
