Good value and location for my purposes.

This hotel was within reasonably close distance to the Lakeland Linder airport where the annual Sun-n-Fun convention is held, which I was attending. The room was remarkably clean relative to what I was expecting for the price and the interior had obviously been refurbished not too long ago. The clientele is a little loud and there seemed to be a lot of traveling work crews staying there, so it was not a family-vacation type of crowd.

The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. There were a lot of people hanging around drinking and smoking outside. The parking lot is well lit and there are several food choices in the area.

It's been very good. All the noise subsides at a good hour, I think around 10:30 or 11:00 p.m., in order to get plenty of rest.

Worst hotel I have ever stayed at

Room had leftover garbage from previous guest. Dirty towels Someone had laid in both beds after it was made. This is worst hotel stay i have had in 40 years of traveling. Sleeping under an overpass would have been cleaner.

After viewing other businesses' reviews, first let me say- rooms have no bugs! Kept very clean. Cons- rooms are not identical. Smokers' odor and smells from outside enter easily as doors are not well sealed and wall a/c draws in from outside. So as you can imagine, cold nights chill rooms, bring a portable heater. Personally, l had to buy a ionization air purifier as the cigarette smell along with the oak tree pollen kept me with bronchitis issues and I am not alone. Worse thing not limited to this business, I just learned, if you are extended stay anywhere, you must leave for a full day and then eligible to return, but 30 days changes your status and to have to do this monthly is very difficult and inconvenient, especially if you are handicapped. I certainly don't know how the hurricane victims are dealing with this. If I must leave to relocate, I won't be returning as it's too much for a recent amputee. However,

Family friendly hotel and great location

The stay was not the best. I specifically asked for a non-smoking room but the room had faint smoke smell. Also the rooms around it smelled of cigarettes and drugs. The room was very outdated and there was even zip tight that was holding the shower head in place. The location has a McDonalds, KFC, and dollar general. Across the highway is a Publix shopping plaza. The customer service was ok. They do need a $50 deposit that can be cash or card. I wasn’t fully comfortable using my card but the gentlemen at the counter was nice enough to let me go to the bank and grab the money. The bed was hard and the pillows were so small and flat. The neighbors also gave not so good vibes. Overall if you ABSOLUTELY NEED somewhere to stay this is a budget friendly hotel that if you bring a few of your own things you can manage to make it comfortable but this is not somewhere you take your family. Maybe a hot quick date lol.
