The tv show wasn’t working and the bathroom door didn’t have a handle. Other than that it was fine for a night.
Bed cover was stained, access codes didn't work, wasn't allowed access to accommodation until after 3pm and the room wasn't finished cleaning, people up all night throwing things down the hall, going room to room playing loud music until early hours of the morning, shower head/arm broken.

I enjoyed my stay. My room was clean, and the area was safe. My bed had two single mattresses pushed together on a queen bed frame. One mattress was thicker than the other, making for a rather odd and uneven sleep.
We were relocated to Jesmond Executive Apartments Walked in slipped on water puddles on floor Arrived looked like a New Deli slum.Washing hanging Everywhere. Backed only Niggt Road works. Light came through black curtains &shutters, had a male knock on door to buy drugs. Next Morning had to move overflowing garbage bins with cats going through them out of driveway to exit

Mark Studio Apartments are run by Cardiff Executive Apartments.
There is no reception area. You call them on arrival and they text you details. We received alternative accomodation details in Jesmond which was off putting.
We called back and not understanding why the change, we insisted on our original booking which they reluctantly gave us.
The accomodation was as described and we parked on the property for free.
The only downside was noise from some of the permanent residents late at night and from the pub downstairs to midnight.
General location good - shops & dining nearby.
Being beside a pub - EXTREMELY NOISY.
The property is non smoking, but the whole building oozed the sickly musty stale cigarette smell. Even the towels provided, gave off the same unpleasant odour.
There was no remote control for the TV.
Although free 'off street' parking is promoted, it is quite limited & by its' location it is clearly provided for the hotel patronsp

Had to phone 3 times to get a code to get into the room and didn’t receive it until 4pm
Comfy beds and quiet at night. Getting in was a nightmare which took 3 calls to finally get all the 5 codes we needed for the doors. It felt like Fort Knox. Appeared to be newly renovated and was clean but peeling paint, holes in the woodwork, dents in the walls and old almost unusable vanity cupboard in bathroom. Whole premises seem to have had a hard life
I have already stated twice I did not end up staying Very dark on arrival people outsuide smoking etc and did not wan to get cards out etc. could not find sign in code anyway. Someone let us in and not a clue which room so left. the placw looked clean though
There were far to many codes for doors. I was given wrong codes, the front door was difficult to open and noone said anything about it in pre arrival information. There needs to be some general maintance. Cleaning could be better especially in the common areas. The dryer went all noght and could be heard from the room. The other guests were noisy and very inconsiderate.
