The staff was very pleasant. Breakfast wasn’t the best, but it was nice to have. I definitely will return. Front desk was great upon check in and check out. The hvac was a bit loud but it was still great.

Great room skip breakfast!!
Front desk clerk was very friendly and efficient. Room was clean and comfortable. Only complaint would be the breakfast. They offered scrambled eggs but they were either frozen or powdered and just not edible. Fried potatoes were cold and just unappealing. Cold cereal tasted generic and coffee was very pale and weak. Had we known how bad it would be we would have planned on eating elsewhere! By then there was no time and we would have missed our show!

Just stay downtown.
We stayed at the Avid hotel for a concert at the Lancaster convention center, it’s about a 15 minute drive. The hotel is very basic, decent cleanliness, spacious room and bed was comfortable. Lots of loud kids staying here. There are no coffee machines in the rooms, but free coffee in the lobby. The staff was not very friendly or helpful. We asked 3 times for a 1 hour late checkout. I was told to call at 9am and speak with the manager. They declined our request and didn’t give any explanation. Surrounding area smells like sewage. Next time we’ll just stay downtown.

The king room needed to be larger and have an in room safe. Two adults in that size of room was not easy, the bathroom in the king room was larger than the room itself. Loved how they had free breakfast for their guests. Hotel was close to shopping and restaurants.
