The old house was beautifully decorated. Lobby area was set up nicely for guests with complimentary snacks. Lovely old house. But our room had a mildewy smell. We could not open any window to freshen the air. All windows were sealed. We ran the bathroom fan 24 hours to try to draw out the smell and stuffiness. The mattress on the bed had seen better days. Very uncomfortable sleep.

The property was very quaint, nicely appointed with personal touches. the cookies were delicious, the coffee set up was great. the breakfast at the cafe next door was easy and convenient. Overall a very nice stay.

This is a surviving, great old fashioned inn from yesteryear. If you’re looking for a place that embraces the tranquility of the Amish areas, this is the place to stay. We had a lovely furnished 2 bedroom suite. It may not be around for much longer as I heard the owners are developing a newer hotel and may be closing this beautiful inn.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Bird-In-Hand Village Inn and Suites. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. Brandi and Lauren are wonderful and the amenities available go above and beyond.
