Renovation done right. Hard to believe this hotel was once a factory but loved how some of the key elements of the factory were incorporated to make the hotel. Restaurant was exceptional. Not in the most touristy area but great stay overall.

I wish I could rate this property better but it was insanely noisy. We could clearly hear EVERYTHING in the room above. There was sound sound proofing. This meant we heard all the walking, cleaning, talking, and other things you really don’t want to hear when you’re on vacation. It woke us up several times at night and in the morning, and I don’t think the people above us were being unusually loud. I understand that the hotel wanted to expose the ceilings for the aesthetic, but it was at a great cost. There was also a wedding one of the nights we were there which was very loud. This only matters because the ballroom entrance is on the 2nd floor right next to a bunch of hotel rooms. We just wish we were put on a different floor since we were not apart of the wedding party or at least had been given some sort of warning.

We were welcomed warmly, registered and shown our room. We sat on the bed and felt a plastic box between the comforter and runner. This box should hace fallen on the floor if the comforter was changed. We immediately where given an equal room. No discount was given or upgrade offered. Will.not be returning to the hotel. I also had to leabe a credit card that was charged $50 for incidentals?? What the heck. The in room fridge was not stocked. Very weird

We had a wonderful stay at the Cork Factory Hotel. It was a beautiful property. The rooms were comfortable and had everything we needed. The walls are very thin and we could literally hear our neighbors on both sides conversations as if they were in the room with us. Maybe it was the acoustics on the top floor. Even despite the lack of privacy we would definitely go back. The bar was great, we didn’t eat at the restaurant but did get a dessert to go that was delicious. The Lancaster District Market is close and we loved how amazing it was. We also really enjoyed the downtown area and our dinner at Bubes Brewery in Mount Joy. Great trip overall!
