This hotel is good if you're just passing through for a night. It's no frills. Just a bed and a shower, basically. Positives are the water pressure in the shower was great, the coffee in the lobby was good and the staff was efficient and friendly. Negatives include being able to hear everything happening in the hotel, from the hall noise to the very loud trains that pass by. There was also no coffee maker in the room. While the whole of the room looked clean, the ledge above the shower seemed forgotten by the cleaning staff. Most everything about the hotel just seemed tired and a little run down. If you're just passing through and want a bargain option, this place is fine.

Basic Landscape needs professional plantings, removal and pruning. Staff does a great job cutting, blowing trimming ect. They need a licensed designer/contractor to do hard pruning and removal. Change out some beds with stone, simple up grades to match the rooms and interior spaces. Staff was exceptional. we will return

The hotel was decent for what we paid. They have to get a better supply of things for the guest. I needed a cover for the pull out bed and they didn’t have extras, I needed a new towel and wash cloth they didn’t have any extra towels 😳😳😳😳🤔

Overall, our stay at this hotel was unsatisfactory, primarily due to significant cleanliness concerns. Upon entering our room, it was apparent that a deep clean was lacking. The carpet was visibly dirty – to the extent that the bottom of my white socks turned dark gray after just one evening, suggesting it hasn't been properly cleaned in quite some time. We also avoided using the upholstered chair due to noticeable stains. The bathroom, while featuring a newer vanity, still had an aged and yellowed bathtub, indicating it hasn't been updated alongside other fixtures. On a positive note, the bed was comfortable, and the air conditioning effectively kept the room cool during a heatwave. However, we did find it odd that we had to set the thermostat to 66 degrees to ensure the fan ran continuously. Finally, the complimentary breakfast was extremely limited, consisting only of waffles and muffins with no hot items or eggs. Given the cleanliness issues and basic amenities, we cannot recommend this hotel.

Showing it's age

The room was clean, although I would not recommend walking on the carpet in your barefeet. The bottom of my white socks were dark gray by end of the evening. We didn't sit in the upholstered chair because it was stained and dirty. Whatever they use to make the room smell fresh was over powering. I believev an asthmatic would have a problem with the smell. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning kept the room cool in a heat wave. The room was on the shabby side. The carpet was frayed and the cover to the bathroom light was off. Just the bare bulb. The tub spigot dripped, but you couldn't hear it outside of the bathroom. The hotel is convenient to the bypass and therefore the outlets, Park City and downtown Lancaster.Breakfast was decent and hubby says the coffee was good! While the staff was accomodating and polite, I want to give a shout out to Tori. She will go far in the hospitality industry. She greets everyone as they come and go. She makes everyone feel at home. .
