The attractive room looked recently renovated. There were, however, some design flaws. There was one light switch for the overhead lighting over the bed. I like the idea of dispensers in the bathroom, however , they were difficult and painful for my arthritic hands to work.

Very friendly staff! Decent breakfast. Cleanliness was an issue....not terrible, but not great. I will admit I am picky about cleanliness, but even my husband noticed. I suspect this is due to lack of housekeeping staff as they seemed to maybe not have enough help to keep up. Examples of issues: carpet in hallways dirty with obvious crumbs & debris, hallway trash cans overflowing, multiple crumbs (but NO bugs) beneath mattresses, dark hair on pillow. Otherwise, great stay and hotel!

This hotel is convenient to all the shopping, dining and shows on the east side eof Lancaster. The rooms are on the small side, and expensive, but we needed a dog friendly hotel so we went with Tru.

The hotel was nice, but didn’t realize the breakfast area and the game area was in the lobby with the check in desk. My room bathroom floor was dirty with hair on it. My bed had hair on the sherts and one pillow case was on inside out. I think the cleaning person didn't do a great job.
