Marlboro Man

This hotel is run down. We had a second floor room, but included heavy cigarette smoke smell. There was also a hotel cigarette butt ashtray right outside our door. We came up for MSU Parent's weekend and booked the room back in May. All of the hotels in town we're sold out... so no other option.

Exterior is very run down, parking lot in poor condition, old cars in lot looked like people were living in them, key not required to enter the stairwells or the causeways, made the property feel unsafe

Worked decently for MSU game otherwise I wouldn’t consider. Shower was almost unusable, bright lights shining in the room during the night without room darkening shades, ok area.

Smells unpleasantly, I can’t say smells dirty, just uncomfortable. The room is one very small piece, oldest ever been, it should be called motel so we don’t reserve if we are expecting an hotel.
