Tired and Travel Weary
We traveled to Las Cruces in order to stay overnight after a 12hr trip from Southern California. This was the half way point on our final destination to East TX. That said, we arrived far earlier than anticipated and the staff were kind enough to find us an available room just after 11am! They were friendly, the check in process was quick! Of course doing much of it online first does help! Anyways, we are definitely staying here again, hopefully as we journey home later this week!

Despite doing the online early check-in the person running the desk still wanted my driver's license saying that really they didn't trust the system - they wanted me to pay again but eventually found my card on file. Once I got into the room I saw stains on the bed cover, stains and filth in the tub, hair in the sink, the fridge's inside looks like it is covered in mold, and the "black-out" curtain was full of holes. If you don't care about sanitary things, and 20-year-old decore well, this might be your place. Also the guy at check-out rude in my opinion and no one ever told me just leave the door open to your room when you leave - that has never been standard practice at any other hotel.

Was pleased with my stay. Had been at this location before in 2018. Overall was good. The room was very spacious with a nice recliner and a comfortable bed. Only complaints for me was a long wait to check in, with no one at the front desk, and a noisy guest nearby. However, that was temporary. Despite that, I would still return at this hotel again.

The first room was filthy. The carpet was disgusting. I made them give us another room. It reeked of dog urine so bad we had to keep the window open. The poor guy working that evening tried to do the best he could, The TV did not work the blow dryer was missing the carpet in the second room was filthy just not as bad as the first one. Because of the fair and a college game most hotels were sold out so leaving was not an option. The pool was freezing and not usable. The shower did not drain. It was horrific I would give it a negative 10. It reeked of marijuana throughout. It appeared questionable individuals were renting there. It should be shut down.

The hotel was adequate but the room’s bathroom clearly needs some professional work done on it - shoddy molding, shower faucet sticks, sink constantly drips, and the towels are a bit stained. Room’s carpet seems a bit stained. Regardless, it was an adequate place to spend the night after a long day of bicycle touring.
