Lovely hotel
My wife, daughter and I stayed for one night, visiting Hoover Dam. The hotel was unexpectedly lovely. It has a welcoming and historic vibe, yet the rooms were up to date and comfortable. Check-in and check-out were friendly and efficient. You should definitely stay at this hotel.

Lovely spacious and comfortable room with loads of character. Whole hotel was beautifully renovated and decorated in historic style. Quiet location but walkable to restaurants. ( hotel restaurant only open Fri and Sat pm - bit disappointing ) No tea/ coffee making in each room but coffee provided in lounge area Great place to stay in a quaint town, away from hubbub of Vegas. on way back from Hoover Dam/ Grand Canyon. only 30 mins from Vegas

Wonderful experience staying at a historic place. It was a perfect compliment to our visit to Hoover Dam, especially the impressive and informative museum within the hotel that further gives historical narratives of both Hoover Dam and Boulder City. Because of the character and historical significance of the hotel, some amenities were sacrifices compared to modern hotels, but the character of hotel more than made up for it. We had the larger room suite which we enjoyed which also included a frig and MW. I’m not sure we would have enjoyed the smaller standard rooms, though.

Only downside was it was stale in the lobby when we arrived at night. We enjoy staying in historic places. Lots of charm and interesting stories close at hand. Plus, it's a break from the Vegas chaos. Bathrooms are super small, but that wasn't a real issue. Wife would have liked some makeup spacebut she survived. Shower stall only. Close to the dam and a really nice area to stay.

What a great find this hotel was. Comfortable, clean and super friendly. Located in the middle of a great small town with shops & restaurants and pubs. We only stayed one night before we headed to Vegas and the truth is we wish we had stayed there another night and skipped Vegas. Really loved this hotel and if we're ever in the area again, this is exactly where we'll stay.

This is an old historic hotel which was unique and the museum on the property was an added bonus. This was okay to stay for 2 nights but the room and bathroom was small. Door locked with an actual key. Wouldn’t want to stay longer
