Disappointing
Check-in had us waiting close to 1 hour. My family was sitting on the floor since there was no seating. They were literally taking over 45 mins to check in guests. There was also a separate line for “VIP” guests making me feel second class right off the bat. Next day we went to the food court which was supposed to open by 11am, there were only 3 restaurants out of about 20 stalls open. Later that evening we came back and there was maybe 8 stalls open. The rest looked closed. The restaurants advertised were also no longer there anyways. I prepaid 36$ for parking. Upon checking out I gave back my key cards. Forgot I needed the key cards to get out of the parking lot. Dialed for a parking attendent through the intercom but nobody answered. The only way out was to pay another 25$. Bathroom body wash and shampoo was the same, conditioner container was empty. The hotel looks nice although it still feels incomplete. Shopping area was dead. The Asian style food court was what drew us to this resort and it was a complete flop. Just feels like this property doesn’t care about the small details which is a shame.

Staff was indifferent…behavior not becoming of a 4 and a half star (Conrad). Checked in, the toiletries were empty and unfilled. Staff came to room twice on the day of check out (10am) to ask if we were checking out…although check out time was 11am.

Outstanding, but pricey
Everything about the Conrad is exceptional, including the pricing of everything. The room was clean and comfortable, well-appointed. The bed was comfortable. Housekeeping was great. Though the weather was too cool to make use of the outdoor facilities, we could see the pools, and grounds from our 38th floor room, and it was beautiful. Just be prepared to pay crazy-high prices for everything beyond the room. There are many dining options on-site, and all are rather high-priced for what they are. If you have a car, be prepared to use the valet for $35/day. Self-parking is such an inconvenience that they really should not say it's an option.
