Nobody seemed to care that we were staying on the property- we were never offered to even sign up for their players club... The room had no hot water, no refrigerator and no microwave. There was vomit on the inside of one of the elevators... I would not recommend staying on this property.

A great property within easy walking access to Fremont Street and so many options for eating, betting, drinking, etc. The only concern is the rooms aren't perfect (e.g., the cover plate was missing from the card reader but I was still able to enter the room). Also, the staff at the hotel, restaurant, casino, etc. weren't particularly friendly and appeared to be demoralized and overworked. Just an observation and a hunch. Regardless, service was good and the food at Freedom Beat was great! Looking forward to coming back with my family in the Summer.

Room was great. Front desk employee that checked us in was great. Bartender named Margarit was absolutely rude. We didn’t get drink service for a long time and I asked for her to come by our table and she said she already was. I said she hadn’t been by for over an hour and she called me a liar. The employee that helped me get drinks apologized to me for her rude behavior. Another employee at rewards was also rude. Big guy with long stringy blond hair. Not sure of his name. Was highly disappointed with how I was treated this trip. We have stayed a few times at the Grand and love it. Hopefully our next stay will have better employees that like their job.

The sheets weren't the cleanest, and if you book with Expedia you don't get room service. Even though you pay the same resort fee. The bed was very comfortable, and so were the pillows. The room we were in was very loud which was fine with us, but if you are a light sleeper, good luck. We could hear the music till 2am, and the flush of the toilet sounded like an airplane take off so if you use the rest room in the middle of the night it'd wake everyone up. The parking lot is across the street which was very easy to utilize, and you are a short walking distance from so much activity, food, and live music! There was no fridge in our room, not sure if it's an option in others. The room was over all fairly clean, and updated. You get bottled water as much as you'd like but you'll have to call down and request/there is a messaging service that only seemed to work sometimes. I would recommend to a friend as it was very affordable, comfortable and provided all needed amenities. Oh and the staff was all very pleasant and quick to answer questions or offer assistance!

Barely good enough to stay again

Great place and very clean. Parking was across the street in a big garage whose elevator was broken. One of the hotel elevators operated strangely sometimes only going up to 3rd floor then forcing you to go back down. Ice machine on our 5th floor was broken. AC vent from wall shoots right on bed by window making that bed too cold. Street noise and music outside were crazy loud. Front desk offered earplugs which we needed to use. But even after all that...we'd stay again.
