Overall our room was comfortable and our stay was great, with a few exceptions. We attended a music festival at the nearby events center, and the location was very convenient. If I had known how awful walking through the Fremont Experience is, I would have picked a hotel that would have made it easier to avoid. Thankfully our room was relatively quiet, and shielded us from most of the street noise. The valet parking was great, and the attendants were kind and prompt.
Despite pictures and room descriptions showing coffee makers THERE WAS NO COFFEE MAKER IN THE ROOM. I asked the front desk about this, and they shrugged and said they were all removed earlier in the year. An in-room coffee maker is the most basic and expected amenity a hotel can provide, and I would not stay here again purely based on that. Seriously, bring back your coffee makers, or at least give guests the ability to heat water in their rooms.
Housekeeping skipped our room even though we left our door tag off. The room phone's housekeeping button was programed wrong and wouldnt connect me. Eventually I was able to reach the front desk and ask for new towels and trash service. We only got the towels, and had to flag the guy down to ask him to remove the used towels.
Overall, the room was reasonably priced, clean, and comfortable, but based on the above I'd choose another hotel in the future.
