Trip started terribly with an awful customer service experience from Shatara as we were traversing a snow storm coming into town. Hands down worst interaction with hotel staff I’ve ever had. She should not be interacting with customers on any level. However as shocking as that interaction was, Patrick, the manager immediately resolved our concerns and promptly remedied everything. He’s energy, attitude and empathy was exactly what was needed. Our perception from our initial interaction immediately took a 180 after speaking with him. The rest of the stuff also was friendly and helpful. We are grateful for Patrick’s efforts. He is the epitome of what one would want in any type of situation that we were dealing with. He and the remaining staff were what you want in any hospitality setting.
Always a favorite stay for cleanliness and service of the breakfast staff and front desk. However, this stay was marred with several overnight broken car windows in the parking lot. Other guests shared this was not the only night. I hope the hotel takes action to improve lighting, or add security to avoid having a good property deteriorate due to crime.
The lady who worked the front desk in the evening wasn’t friendly. I noticed a quick change when I approached the desk attempting to purchase water compared to her interaction with the guest that was checking in before me. I even asked her if she was ok because her energy quickly changed for the worse when I spoke to her. She responded by saying she is not used to people asking to purchase water, they typically just take them and leave. This was confusing to me because how else was I supposed to purchase the water?
Prior to this visit, I have been staying here for years and have always enjoyed my stay with the clean rooms and friendly concierge.
The staff was amazing. We stayed here for a week. They were so attentive to our needs and made us feel like we were at home. Even our dog was treated like a vip guest, they showered our dog with petting and treats! Great place to stay long or short term! Cleaning staff also took great detail to make the rooms shine!
