Like others, we were impressed by the quality and convenience of this hotel, especially since it excelled in areas where larger hotels on the strip fall short. There was no queue to check in. Our room was very clean and felt recently renovated. Parking is free (you use your key card to get in and out) and it's a quick walk from the garage to the front door of the hotel. Elevators are conveniently located just a few steps from the front desk. There are ice machines on each floor. The casino in the hotel itself is pretty quiet but it's a quick walk to Fremont Street.

The room had a sewer odor. Maintenance was sent who changed the filter on the a/c unit and blamed the smell on that and said: “if you still smell it we’ll send housekeeping to spray air freshener, these all we can do.” The smell varied in strength throughout our stay and when I mentioned as we checked out the front desk just said: “thanks for letting us know. We’ll tell maintenance.” I don’t think I’ll be staying again.

The Main Street is nice but showing it's age. The room definitely could have been cleaner. The carpet needs a good steam cleaning or replacement.

Walking distance to pickleball and to Fremont street. Loved to walkway to the California Hotel. Hotel is like a museum (saw Berlin Wall plus, but elevator broken to Churchhill's snooker table). Great items in gift shop. Friendly staff.
