Main Street is a great place to stay downtown. Close enough to Fremont, but far enough away that you can get away from the crowds. A little disappointed in the amenities—no coffee in the room or anywhere in the casino to get a free cup in the morning. Have to go to a cafe or restaurant and pay $5 a cup. Otherwise good stay

Cool place

Rooms are very clean. Beds & pillows are reasonably comfy. There’s a mini-fridge & a safe. But I wish there were a microwave & a coffee maker. The shampoo & conditioner aren’t great…they left my hair very staticky. I used to live in Vegas, so I know that static is avoidable. The Triple 7 restaurant is not open very late so you have to leave the hotel if going out to eat late. All the antique furnishings on the main floor are super cool. And it’s fun to imagine what it was like when it was the train station.

Decent spot to stay on Fremont, usually stay at the Nugget but when I want to stay and save some cash, I’ll do the older, smaller spots. Connected to the California by bridge. Not as much dining as other casinos but for the money it’s decent. Staff was excellent
