Overpriced and underwhelming
Platinum Hotel was a very nice hotel years ago. You can tell that it’s in need of an upgrade. We decided to splurge on a room with a view of the sphere and washer/dryer in the unit. But there were so many things wrong that the housekeeping staff should have caught! 1. Ice maker in the fridge wasn’t working, and no ice machines in the hotel. So I had to run to the gas station next door for a bag of ice. 2. All the lights in the windowless bathroom were burned out, so the bathroom was pitch black unless you left a door open. Ick! 3. No detergent was provided for the washing machine. Back to gas station! 4. No Dishwashing liquid or dishwasher liquid provided , even though it had a small dishwasher. I refused to go back to the gas station for a 3rd time! 5. Crushed potato chips underneath the coffee table from a previous guest. Ick! Should have been easy to clean up if anyone was paying attention. 6. Lastly, not a great location. Scary people hang out outside the hotel. When we arrived, there was a mentally challenged person standing outside yelling obscenities. Very scary. Overall, the Platinum hotel is way overpriced. Not staying there again.

Fine, but NOT 9/10 on Hotels. More like 7/10.
Some issues: Checkin line was long and only 1 person. Took long tome. Room key stopped working. Had to go get a new one. Shower only cold water.

Great Stay!! Picked room with washer and dryer to get my cloths washed and cleaned. I do this because i clean all my cloths at once, even the ones I have on lol so I’m butt naked in the room while it all gets cleaned. Pool is very nice, has an inside and outside area. By the pool is a restaurant. There is a bar downstairs by the check in. They serve food there too. The gym is nice and they have a peloton bike which is very nice, peloton needs to add a guest login. Room was clean and very nice and big. Walk in shower and jetted tub. Full kitchen with the works. Also has a balcony with chairs. Very nice and clean hotel. All rooms are smoke free. There’s a smoking area outside. They have a 24 hour little store by the check in for when you need things. Great stay, got my laundry done butt naked lol it’s Vegas baby!! What happens here stays here!!
