The remodeled room was very nice. However, all the towels were threadbare and the pillows were stained. They "lost" our reservation and it took an hour + for them to find it. You cant just call the front desk - you are required to use "Rita" a terrible AI. I love craps and was looking forward to teaching my wife. The casino has exactly 1 actual table - otherwise, its digital craps only, and where's the fun that?!? Restaurants - we tried Guy Fieri's El Burro Borracho and all I can say is he should be absolutely ashamed of allowing his name to be associated with the restaurant. The food was almost inedible - that is not hyperbole. The steak in my fajita was so over cooked the only part that was chewable were the large pieces of fat. Somehow, they even managed to screw up the tortillas. Hash House A Go Go serves breakfast, and at least it tasted good. However, at almost $75 for 2 people, without alcohol, not worth it. Skip it, hop a rideshare to a casino with a buffet, and eat much better for only a few bucks more. The pools - we went the first weekend in Oct, so we knew that 2 of the 4 pools would be closed for the season. However, it was high 80s and gorgeous out and plenty of people wanted to sit out by the pool. Unfortunately, the water was ice cold. The few people brave enough to go in the water did not stay in for more than a couple minutes. All the hot tubs were all closed and there were only 2 servers for everyone. Skip the Rio - stay on the strip.

We got there with food for the room and the fridge was not working and it didn’t shut. I had to call twice to wait on the person to finally fix it. We requested the maid but she never came then the ac went out and no one ever came to fix it by this time it’s already very late at night and we ended up falling asleep and left super early the next morning. Worst stay

You get what you pay for. This hotel gets the job done. Room and furniture is dated as in many other hotels in Vegas. I come to Vegas expecting to catch a few Ubers so I’m not too worried about walkability. I can walk once I’m at the strip and so on. Personally I only sleep in the room. I’m usually out all day so it may not matter as much as it would to others. 3/5. Not good, not bad. Just average.

It looks like they are trying to fix it up and improve it but customer service is terrible. There’s no real place available for breakfast. The one restaurant that serves a sit down breakfast has lots of empty tables but does not use them. There’s always a 45 minute wait. Everyone then floods into Starbucks who then can’t handle the extra swap of people. Need more sit down restaurants with friendly, helpful staff.

​A hotel of two halves! On one side, we had a great stay in a newly renovated room with fantastic views of the Strip. The hotel itself offers everything you need, including ample gaming options. ​On the other side, the stay was marred by two major issues. First, the check-in process was shocking, with painfully long queues and a severe lack of staff at the desk. Second, while close to the Strip, the location is not as walkable as we'd hoped due to the high-speed main roads, meaning we had to Uber everywhere for safety. Our rating reflects the excellent hardware (room/view) being dragged down by poor service and transportation logistics.

There were not any electric outlets by the bed do we couldn’t hook up our CPAP’s. The hotel didn’t have any extension cords. I would have thought a hotel of this era could accommodate our request.
