Not a great hotel for ADA

The hotel is not very ADA accessible. One parking garage could not be used by us because there was no elevator, only an escalator which didn’t work in one direction. Which was near my room. After checking in by kiosk cause the line was a mile long we finally figured out where the room was. The hotel has valet but isn’t great for us cause I often run to car for supplies ect for my son. So my car was literally parked a quarter of a mile from my room…. The amenities were fine. But service and help getting into my room was lacking,

I want to give a higher rating as we had a fantastic time at the pool, food was great, we saw “wow” which was awesome. This all being said, our suite smelled like rotten eggs pretty bad every day. I called down to the front desk on the morning of the 26th, and someone was supposed to come look and let us know. Never heard back from anyone. I again mentioned it the morning of the 27th when we left as I don’t want the next folks staying in the room to have to deal with it. This issue alone made me not able to give the overall rating higher than I did. Again, all amenities were great, but felt like the smell was not taken serious and my family should not have to stay in a room of that condition when we spent the amount of money we did, plenty of other options on the strip to choose from. Not sure we will choose to stay at the Rio again in the future.

Don’t chance it.

Probably the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. We took a chance since it was supposedly renovated but quickly learned that wasn’t true. The bathroom sinks were all backed up , the shower had no handle to close the door and the caulk was black with mold. Couch was stained with decades of who knows what. Abhorrent for the price.

Clean but tired

Clean hotel and rooms. But it is tired and has lots of signs of wear and needs maintenance. But for the price and the fact it’s clean it do the job for two nights.

The room was very clean and big for the price. We only stayed for a few hours due to our flight being so late and the flamingo couldn’t accommodate us. We wished that we had booked the Rio for our stay in the beginning. It was a very nice place. Next time in Vegas we will book the Rio.

The lighting in the room is inadequate. The electric outlets in the room are inadequate. There should be a coffee maker and glasses in the room instead of paper cups. Also please provide facial tissues in the rooms. The food court restaurants should be of better quality.

The price is right

The rooms seem like they are 1/2 completed . You have good furniture with older stuff that needs to be taken out. The maids are friendly and do a great job. The food is a bit too expensive. But overall i give the Rio Hotel 4 stars.
