Huge Let Down and Beware of Scalding Steam Pipe!!!

We came to this place to celebrate my birthday with my kids and wife and wished we stayed somewhere else. Long story short, miscommunication with staff made finding parking difficult especially with all the construction going on. Lazy river closes 2 hours before the main pool so we weren't able to experience it at all especially with the second day the pools being closed for hours due to "lightning in the area", walking barefoot in our room made our feet dirty black and worst of all the shower had a steam option for a sauna type of experience and when I turned it on nothing happened for like 3 minutes so I decided to touch the pipe thinking I had to twist it or something and as soon as I gripped it and tried turning it as hard as I could it turned on and completely burned my hand. I was in serious pain and had to run my hand under cold water for a very long time just to keep from having the pain be unbearable. There should be a sign saying caution do not touch or something so people would know not to touch it. There were a few more things making our experience a bad one, but needless to say that last one was the cherry on top of a bad stay at the Tahiti Village and we will not be staying here ever again.

We ALWAYS get a room facing a dirt lot. It would be nice of attention was paid to the fact that this was our 3 or 4th time there and ALWAYS overlooking the dirt not the lazy river or pool

I live in Vegas but what a gem to stay here

It was just very clean it was very nice it is very convenient the only downside is there is no valet and I understand that there’s probably not a lot of heavy traffic so you don’t need it and the parking is atrocious I am handicap and I really struggled to get from my parking to my room but other than that once I got settled down it was really nice

Nice rooms and resort, but would not come back

Stayed in a 2 bedroom suite, which was 2 rooms connected. We were not able to check in at check in time posted. We were told it would be ready by 4-430, but we were not in a room until after 5:30. Apparently, they had the wrong number and a text was sent to me at 5pm stating my room was ready, which I never received. I was sitting in lobby and checked back with front desk at 5:30 and was found out it was ready then. The room was nice and spacious. You can tell most of the room was renovated, but there were some older features in room still. The bathrooms looked a little dated and the washing machine & dryer in room was tiny and loud. The outdoor areas were nice. The pool was big and busy. Hot tub hurt my kids eyes, maybe chemicals in it to keep clean? They had 2 areas with many grills for guests to use. One grill area was infested with cockroaches at night. They were crawling in front of grill, on seating areas, and pretty much all over! I began to notice roaches around other outdoor common areas. Due to the big infestation, I would not come back to this property.

Our trip was overall amazing and beautiful. Our building was under construction so we did hit a few issues, but mostly just with the elevators here and there. We had 3 adults and 1 kid in our party, so I figured 1 bed and I sofa bed would be fine. The first night I remember thinking that the sofa bed was more comfortable than any other I’ve ever slept on. But after the second night, my age really told me I was wrong lol. I cannot wait to come back here!

My wife and I stayed here for our 10 year anniversary. It’s off the strip, which was deliberate. It’s quiet, shuttles run every 30 minutes to the strip, though the last pickup shuttle is 8:15, which is a bit early, otherwise it is like having your own apartment. Full kitchen, washer, dryer, pots, pans, plates and silverware. I would stay here again.

Hi we just were here for our 2nd time and come all the way from New York City, It is definitely worth it and we love this resort!!! It’s very clean smells amazing when you walk into the lobby always!!! The pool and lazy river are our favorite areas @ the resort the front desk are very friendly and helpful the minute you walk in too check in the rooms are beautiful and very spacious and comfortable!!!! There are plenty of food options around the area and the mountains are beautiful from your sky view area!! The casinos are 5 min away driving this place is wonderful for families and if you’re looking for a relaxing getaway and a fun one!!! We will be returning next summer!!!
