The room I checked in to had the air controller hanging from the wall by a wire, and parts all over the floor. They then changed my room to a much smaller room.

I had the ivory tower penthouse and there was no mini bar or coffee Kuerig machine which every room has a mini bar and Kuerig. I downgraded to just ivory tower suite just now and they have a Kuerig and mini bar with no opened pellegrinos in the cupboards.

WiFi never worked. Used phone hot link. Limited food court options for breakfast. Ice machines broken. But I love the in-house movie theaters. Overall great restaurants and rooms. One of my favorite hotels.

The Palms was a great hotel in the early 2000s. Clearly, a lot has changed since then. Room was dirty and a bit "beat up." No towel bar or hook in bathroom to hang towel(s). TV remote didn't work, so I had to unplug it to turn it off. This meant I couldnt use it or even check out from the room. No alarm clock. Very loud exterior street noise, which made it sound like window was open. This hotel has gone downhill in quality and experience. In all fairness, front desk staff was nice.

I loved my stay here. Thai was my first time in Vegas and it didn’t disappoint the rooms actually matched the images online. The casino workers were friendly and helpful, I was able to have accommodations fixed if there was an issue. And you get to get reward points which is always a plus
