Love this place so much! A little dirty around the back but just go hike and it makes up for it

This place is dated for sure. The room was nice enough and had some upgrades to modernize it, but the property as a whole just needs work. I knew this going into it, but I still wanted to spend some time in the mountains and there are limited options.
Our stay was amazing. The location offers a cozy and comfortable environment as well as plenty of activities to do nearby. You can enjoy nature filled walk and hikes in the backyard of this beautiful establishment and later come back to eat a delicious dinner.
The hotel did not have an elevator
Our room was in the 3 rd floor so that would have helped with our luggage
Hotel needs attention in all the areas
The view was amazing that was the only good thing about this stayed

The room was in very poor condition, with graffiti carved on the wooden crossbeams. The bathroom was clean but very dated. The mattress was uncomfortable and old, and the room smelled like someone was ill and vomited. Dog scratch marks on the bathroom door.
Hotel staff was really friendly. One of our beds seemed broken and the building is on the older end. Bartender wasn’t really friendly or welcoming. We asked for changed to play the pool table but she sent us to the change machine which was not working, we were then sent to front desk. who apologized and said she should have assisted us instead of having us run around. We forgot our charger in our room and called the hotel, they were so helpful and had it at the front desk when we arrived. Food was not very good and got sick from our meal.
