I love this spot so much and have come here for years. It is a beautiful location and the service is wonderful. The staff are fabulous. The rooms are clean and cute and smell great, but the patios are a bit of a mess. The food is superb. The gym is new and fabulous. The spa is a bit over priced for the quality of service, but the staff are friendly. One thing that disheartened me this time was seeing the outside areas, pool area and equipment and tidiness or cleanliness of the property and the landscaping deteriorating over time. There is some renovation going on inside the resort which will be lovely. But it does seem like the outside has been much neglected. There was some fresh paint in the pool area but very sloppily done. Many broken umbrellas and pool loungers. The patio chairs are in rough shape. The landscaping is very neglected. The quality has slipped a bit - I was appalled to see a group come in with their cooler and little cook stove to a common area and set up their own picnic - definitely disrupted the ambience of this classy resort. Perhaps I’m sensitive to this because I really do love this resort and I truly hope there will be a turn around and investment to keep it beautiful and the oasis it really is. It is definitely a place I will continue to come and stay. It still is a special place and I do recommend it.
