The Avi was cool, I think I just had high expectations for the amount that we paid for our 2 bed room queen beds. The room was cleanish, there was a bundle of eye lash extensions under the bathroom sink, some dry boogers on the curtains in which I thought was blood for a second, at least the bathroom and beds were nice and clean. The pool on the other hand looked so cool Online but when we got there , it was soooo foggy and a little greenish yellow. I wish it would have been clean so we could have stayed at the pool longer. I don’t know if they clean it nightly, but I think the property is overall pretty but it could use a lot of tlc when it comes to cleanliness.

This place was DISGUSTING. I found 3 roaches in our room. The tub water was YELLOW. I had to switch rooms & the second was even worse. Gummies on the floor. Tub was disgustingly yellow & stained. Mirror was dirty. Sheets had stains. Not vacuumed at all. Once I requested to change rooms for the 3rd time management Aubrey said yes it’ll take about 15min… More than 40min went by & she never updated me until I had to call her saying forget it, & requested for someone to go clean the current room we were in. NO ONE came by. I requested a King sized bed & ended with 2 Queens instead. 2/10 do not recommend at all. Also, you can not BBQ or use gas stoves in their lake. Most hotels allow you too but it’s forbidden here.

We bought subway and there was a penny in the food and the stupid manager said I’ll refund half of the money instead of apologize . Check the cameras and fire the stupid arrogant woman.

Extremely dirty we had to switch rooms 3 times and even the last room wasn’t totally clean we were just over it by then the pool was great and beach was amazing pricing on site wasn’t bad but when we checked in our room was dirty I asked around 5 for them to just switch our sheets at 9 still wasn’t done called asked for a manager left a message for some guy who has yet to call me back then at 9 the next morning a manager called and woke us up to ask us about the issue and we told her all we wanted was our sheets changed and no one did it to she did switch us and upgrade us to a suite but when we got there that room had a giant hairball that looked like it had been pulled from someone’s brush so I went complained again we got switched they told us they couldn’t give us any discount since we didn’t book with them but they would give us one to just have them call and they have been calling and they won’t answer their phones the amenities are great the house keeping staff all need to be fired because all three rooms were dirty

This resort could be very beautiful if the cleanliness was kept up. Our first room had blood on the sheets and walls, & there was a tampon resting along the edge of the restroom wall. The pool was yellow, not joking, we went to the pool on the back side because it was way cleaner & when we walked out past the main pool, it was being caution taped. The river is the best part about this resort. Great if you have small kids, and great for big kids too! Easy & convenient access to the river. The resort has fast food options, an arcade & a movie theatre!

The resort had many options to choose from for our picky eater and the rest of the bunch had more choices than we needed! The kids had a blast at the pool and in the arcade!

Their was only one elevator for the many guest that were staying there. It would take us almost 5 to 10 minutes to get on. The elevator also started having problems and we had to take the stairs to get to our rooms.

The rooms were filthy. Giant thick spider web in the corner of room. Room phone wasn’t working we had to call the front desk via our cell phones they said they would send someone to fix and they never came. The bathroom, oh the bathroom. The tub was brown, there was sand on sink top, old tooth paste splatter on mirror. The dresser had broken drawers that wouldn’t stay closed. I had to use a small piece of rope we used for floaties in the river to keep them from opening. At one point I stepped into the hallway and ran into house keeping I asked if there was some kind of cleaning/ wipes or solution she could give me to give the room a wipe down and her response was “guest usually bring their own” I just smiled and said ok and walked away. Anyway. I stayed at the resort a few years back and the rooms were good. I just feel they’ve let them go. The river experience/ beach was great. My family and I really enjoyed it.

When we checked in the room smelled of mildew and water. There were damp spots in the carpet all around the room. I did inform front desk and did not receive a call back from a manager. The next morning I called down to the front desk again and asked to have a full service clean on the room because one of the beds sheets were soiled. We were out all day and returned at 4:30pm and our room had not been touched or cleaned whatsoever. They moved us into a different room around 7pm and we had to gather our belongings and children (age 2 &5) because they couldn’t have someone some clean the room.
