The resort looks better online then in person in my opinion. I felt like I was staying at a Motel 6. The ac was not great. The pool water was green. Looks like the filter was not properly working.

One of the bartenders was clearly biased towards us. She was definately catering to the locals and not us. Not sure if her indifference towards us was because we were not locals but its the only thing we could think of us since we were polite the entire time. The other bartenders were pleasant and accomodating. As far as cleanliness, our room smelled, the pool water was cloudy and the outside back area of the hotel looked a bit run down. The casino and indoor bars & restaturants were good.

My room was done but no toilet tissue was left. I had to call room service to bring some, but they were fast to bring some to the room. Excellent service. Also needed more towels and got the service as well quick.

Overall, we were happy with our stay. Although our room was not entirely clean (food crumbs on tables, shower not cleaned), the pool water was green (couldn’t see the Avi logo on bottom of pool) so sketchy with getting in the water. Customer service was great. We felt well taken care of.

Room was clean but the pool was dirty. The water was green when we arrived. The next day they drained the pool water. During my stay the pool was not available. We like the Avi pool and really enjoy it when it is clean. After my stay, I reached out to the Avi staff for a partial reimbursement or discount or credit because of no pool access. They never responded. We were disappointed during our stay.

Love it here

Love this place! The hotel is lovely with all of its artwork and history. Aubrey at check in is delightful. The room is clean and comfortable. The pool areas are wonderful and the beach area is kept up so nicely. As are all of the grounds. At the pool Ian and Jessica are wonderful host/hostess and very attentive to the guests. The head groundskeeper -sean?- takes great pride in his care and it shows. I love having the chance to stay and enjoy all of it.

My mother wanted a room upstairs, according to her, to have a view. Nice, but pure, cement. It could be seen. And if we talk about the room, the bathroom shower doesn't work. No coffee makers, no Maycrowe. In the entire casino, there was no one who could get me a cup of hot water for tea. The truth is, it was a bad, bad experience, and according to what they told me, that place, which was very good. I don't know what happened. And there wasn't a pool either, just a river. At least with that heat. From there on, well, zero, you know. I hope they improve everything in general.
