Property and service was first rate. Accommodation is exceptional value for the price, and very central with off street free parking. Brilliant.

convenient location to the city centre and also had a great view of Launceston from the room. However the room seemed to be slightly old and creaked in under the windy conditions of the city.

The property was okay. The room was nice enough. There was no lift for suitcases and parking was limited. We found the property was hard to find and needed to use a steep driveway. Wasn’t our favourite place on our trip but served its purpose for one night.

Areca Launceston is always my first choice when I stay in Launceston. The staff are friendly & professional, rooms are quiet & clean. Everything is within walking distance - just beware they are on a decent hill

The property was clean, but on a steep slope. Also stairs to 2nd floor accommodation. Not what this old fella needs after a drive. Good spot though, clean and functional.

The only thing we didn’t like, was that when we came back late at night, the room smelt stuffy. Other than that, we were quite happy.

Great for a business traveller looking for clean modern no-frills accommodation with a decent size desk to work in the evening. Car parking is a little bit squeezy for large cars but not overly problematic. No restaurant on premises but plenty of options in the CBD a short walk away. Added bonus not mentioned on the web site: the aquatic centre just over the road is great those who like keeping fit. Would stay again.
