Petite townhouse très fonctionnelle. Très propre. Lits confortables. Check in et out par code très rapide. Pas vu les personnes a la réception parcequ'on est arrivé (et partis) en dehors des heures de réception, mais le contact au téléphone était très agréable.

Dont stay on ground floor
The place itself was very good but with our room being on the ground floor we had the constant thud of noise of the people above us -- up and down the stairs and what seemed to be constant walking in their room which was very loud in our room- making it a very uncomfortable stay for us.

Hideaway on George is a great value! Our room was immaculately clean and provided many convenient amenities, including coffee, mini fridge, microwave and dishes, making it easy to prepare snacks and light meals. The beds, pillows and couch were all comfortable and cozy, and the bathroom was spacious and bright, with a great walk-in shower! But best of all was the quaint ambiance of the two balconies (one private, one with city views). We enjoyed the quiet, hidden setting removed from street noise and hustle, as well as the convenient, on-site parking. We found the location provided easy access by car to Cataract Gorge, the National Auto Museum, restaurants and services. Staff was friendly and helpful, and check-in was easy. Would recommend!

Great boutique hotel centrally located
Had a 3 night stay exploring Launceston. We had a room on the 1st floor that overlooked the city and PennyRoyal fun park. It was lovely to have the views. The room was very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed, ie coffee, a selection of teas, bottled water and toiletries. We were able to park close to our room as part of the package. It was very central to Cataract gorges, parks, the markets and many eateries and the CDB. The gentleman that greeted us at reception was courteous and friendly and brought extra crockery and cutlery to our room in case we got takeaways and needed them.

Great base for a couple of days for intrastate travel. Full kitchen was very useful, and the living areas were quite spacious. Also had access to a garden and parking right outside the door.
