Room was a bit too trendy for us old codgers. Great location though and staff were nice and helpful. Not the easiest place to park if you have a taller car (the carpark opposite is too low for ours).

We had a terrible arrival given we reserved with Expedia and it turns out the hotel did not have our contact information. Consequently they did not share the precious information about parking, they naturally share when booking directly with the hotel. We were a party of 6 with two rooms booked and arrived with two cars following GoogleMap directions until we got stuck in a pedestrian street behind a retractable ground plot that required a code to open. We were stuck in traffic with cars honking behind us, we tried to call the hotel and reached an automatic answer with only choice to select if booking was made directly with the hotel or with a 3rd party- this last choice led to the response “if you booked with a 3rd party we cannot help you”. Eventually a local resident behind us let us in after loosing patience. We finally reached the hotel and the courteous lady at the front desk apologized for our experience and it seemed like a situation she was used to. The cherry on the cake was to find out that the local hotel parking was full and we were recommended a public parking. We punched the address on the GPS and drove to this parking to find a closed gate, and another Mercure customer in the same situation. Without mentioning that the route to get there took us through pedestrian roads that were very narrow to a point we had to fold our side mirrors to make it. This was a very stressful experience I didn’t need on my vacation and we ended up late at a dinner reservation.

Love this place very quiet

Very clean and close to everything. There is no coffee in the bedrooms which was a bit inconvenient, but they have a very nice breakfast area. Shower was a bit awkward.

Basic but comfortable hotel. Rooms very compact but did all that was needed. Just no water or tea/ coffee.
