I booked the stay here for the convenience to the airport. When I got there it was a bit chaotic at the front desk as the system that created the room keys were down. They had me sit off to the side, so I went to the restaurant to grab a bite and check back. They still didn't have keys so they just walked you to your room and let you in. In the room the ac and tv weren't working. While checking in I heard others calling or at the desk with the same problem of the ac. Since it was late and I was tired I just didn't complain about it and I knew I was gonna be in the city the whole next day. Make sure to reserve the shuttle the night before otherwise you may not be able to get on. Pay attention when at the airport and waiting for the shuttle as it can get chaotic with all the shuttles coming and going. I walking up to one and tried to get in the door when the driver pulled away, so I had to wait another half hour. Overall, it served as a bed for me to sleep on and get to the airport.

The Jangle Hotel was a lovely stay for the night - close to the airport and comfortable. I struggled a bit with language barriers (I do not speak French) and think that that impeded my full enjoyment of the facilities and offerings

It was clean, and comfortable beds. Looked all remodeled, staff were friendly, but we’re limited with English Language skills in the reception area. There was no ATM and I had to walk to a village to get to it for a half hour. Would be nicer if the pool and spa were within the hotel itself.

I had high hopes for our last night in France. Check in was smooth, got our bathing suits on to hit the pools/water park, and my husband was swiftly told he couldn’t swim because he didn’t have the correct type of bathing suit. The ones they sold were too small for him. So that was disappointing. Air conditioning was not nearly cold enough in the room. Needed to ask for a fan and had difficulty sleeping. The bed was comfortable, and the breakfast was impressive.

Staff would barely talk to us, no orientation for welcome- like how to get to rooms or accessing pool. Also pool is not a hotel property but an adjacent water park and there was no info on the requirements of how small men’s swim suits needed to be. My husband and 3yr old wore swim trunks and were kicked out because they didn’t have speedos. Like blaring whistles an d three lifeguards chasing them down and yelling at them in French….Also shuttle dropped us in completely wrong terminal and wouldn’t communicate with us.

So… the hotel by itself is quite nice but… like many (I guess), I picked this hotel because of the pool… I like to stop one night at a hotel near airport before coming back home, to make transition easier. I was amazed by the pictures of the pool on the website and the hotel website do say that there is a pool and a sauna at the hotel. This not true. The hôtel has some kind of partnership with the sports/fitness complexe near by. True it’s not far, but it is not part of hotel - meaning it may be close, the rules about swimsuit are different from international hotel per instance and it’s not as comfortable than having the pool at the hotel! I paid extra money for both the hotel and the taxi as it’s on the north side of the airport… next time for sure, I’ll pick another hotel, closer to Paris - cheaper but still nice with a smaller but real pool at the hotel!
