While close to Tioga pass this is a noisy motel. It is right on Hwy 395. The mattress sasnt comfortable and the heater noisy. The A/C unit in the window should be removed since it is fall and it lets in cold air since it is not sealed in the window which is no good since 30ft from 395.
Clean room with comfortable bed. Places to sit to enjoy nature. Allows dogs.
The negative, and it's a big one, is the sound of traffic all through the night and morning on nearby Hwy. 395. Despite the lovely view and setting, the rooms are just too close to the highway.
This could be mitigated by investment in double- or triple-paned windows, which would keep out the noise.
The lodge is great!! Only bad part ws we booked because it said on the site 20 mins to yosemite that was a lie its 20 mins to entrance of yosemite its another 2 hrs to get to the tourist hikes uch as el capitan, yosemite falls etc please fix that

The property is clean and unique but too close to the busy road even at night still noisy lot of car passing by.
Room was clean. We had steep stairs to navigate which would have been nice to know about before. Checked in and were on our own. Staff not super welcoming. Noisy highway traffic all night but they cannot help that part. No TV.
Sleeping 50 feet from highway. Office open sometimes. Outlets good luck. Nowhere to place belongings. Bring your own soap. For an extra 20 stay in town. No advantage herr.
What a cute little resort. It is on a busy highway, but that didn't bother me too much. The view of the lake was amazing. The clerk recommended waking up for beautiful sunrise over the lake and gave me the time of sunrise.
The bed was squeeky but really comfortable.
No TV in room, but that didn't bother me either.
This is a wonderful lodge sirectly across the street from Mono Lake. It is a great location to visit Yosemite and Mono Lake. A great place to disconnect, relax, read, and enjoy the AMAZING sunrises over the lake.
Very noisy by the road. I thought they breakfast but they didn’t. It just needed some cleaning on the deck and chairs. Air conditioning was not good. Inside needed windows and blinds cleans
The room was cute and the outside is cute as well. Its a nice view of the lake and the sunrise and there are close, cute eating places just up the hill. The only complaint, which the owner cant really control is there is a lot of bugs/knats that get in the room but its because they are all down by the lake probably because if its sulfur content. So again just kimd hard to control that, but overall we thought it was a really cute place
