This property is a string of cottages on the west side of Highway 395, well north of the town of Lee Vining. They have a great view of Mono Lake across the road. Especially at dawn!
The buildings are old but have been very nicely rehabbed. My cottage featured a wonderful claw-foot cast-iron soaking tub. A bath bomb was strategically placed on a nearby table. Perfect! What a joy. Really nice cotton towels.
The mattress was very comfortable.
Lights and outlets strategically placed - very handy.
Refrigerator and microwave worked well.
Parking was close and felt very safe - away from the traffic on the highway.
The grounds are nicely maintained and there is even a little creek with a sweet bridge.
I was there one night and regretted that it could not have been longer.
There is plenty of highway noise that could annoy a delicate sleeper. Management has placed packets of foam ear-plugs to help block out the noise.
Could have done with 2 nights here at least. Was good to relax, outdoors on the swinging seat over looking Mono Lake

Gorgeous cottage/casita
The very friendly clerk that checked us in provided us with great information and she was polite and courteous. This hotel, cottage unattached room was beautiful! It was small and cute. The view from the front door of the room was amazing. Mono lake is right across the 395 and at 6 am you can see the beautiful sunrise at Mono lake. The yard was clean and spacious. We had everything we needed. The bathroom has a bathtub only with a shower hose. I didn't have a problem with it, but my husband did not like it. I would definitely stay here again.
Clearly newly updated. Liked that there was a microwave and small refrigerator. Great view of Mono Lake, and the surrounding property was nicely landscaped. Didn't like the highway noise.
Very quaint with a beautiful view of sunrise over Mono Lake.

Good value for the stay.
We chose the motel because it gave us a quick trip to the park. Reasonably priced, small motel close to Yosemite. Stayed one night. Pleasant staff. The room was clean. Limited privacy due to thin walls.
Absolutely perfect for our stay as we visited yosemite national park. The views out on to mono lake are amazing and the lady at reception told us where to check out the local scenery. Definitely recommend
When we got to our room the fan was missing a blade and the air conditioner was not working so it was super hot in our room. When I pulled the bedding down there was a dead bug in my bed. After we laid down the ceiling fan broke and one of the blades hit my husband in the head. We tried to tell the front desk this morning but they was closed! I will NOT be staying there again and I will not recommend this hotel!
It's on a roadside, so there is much noise of the cars passing by. The toilet flush is up high and so children and very short people cannot even reach it. There is no WiFi in any room, only if one stands next to lobby. The space in the room is minimal.
Overall, it was okay but lack of WiFi in an area with no coverage was very disappointing.
Clean and cute cabin with a nice but noisy view of mono lake. Shower is a bit odd. Just a few minutes to Lee Vinning, which has nothing to recommend it. Buy groceries before you arrive
