Property is clean but old. Parking is convenient. Beware of the "service charge" of $10. It's for nothing.

Not luxurious, but unusual
This is a slightly tired 1950's style roadside small motel (RIGHT on the road so very noisy traffic all night). Mist rooms have a nice deck that runs along several rooms - however, our's which was rm #4 had trees that blocked out the view of the lake itself. The other rooms would have had an actual lake view. Overall - it was a nice stay in a clean but noisy and a bit quirky old motel.
The room was quiet with a nice view of mono lake. The main takeawya was the room had no air conditioning. The room never cooled down even with the fan and windows open. Fairly uncomfortable. In addiition they are in need of new mattresses.
Room was ok but you can hear neighbors and people walking around. Front desk staff wasn't very friendly. Property is old but kind of charming and conveniently located to Yosemite Park entrance
Cute place, nice location for a night passing thru on a road trip. Cute gift shops walkable. Ate dinner at The Basin Cafe and Breakfast at Nicely’s Restaurant. Loved both, great food!! and walkable. No amenities. Would give 5 stars but we had ants in our shower area. Nice updated bathroom counters/sink. Fridge and microwave. Would stay again for sure!
What's to say??? We needed a room for the night and picked this place. It was fine.

Older but convenient to Yosemite with nice view. They should update their door locks since we locked our selves in by way of sliding door which was the main door. Wish they did not lock the TV volume. Also wished staff stayed all the way to 10pm for access to the kitchen.
but very quaint, the quaint, clean and comfortable beds. Nicely located. And the point is not the hotel. It’s the location since you should be out seeing the parks anyway. I recommend.
It was clean. The room had the amenities we wanted when we booked the room. There were dining options across the street from the motel. The staff was helpful.
