The hotel itself is lovely - my room was genuinely one of the nicest I've had in a while - spacious with a beautiful canalside view. The staff were extremely helpful and assisted with all my enquiries. There were a couple of issues. The hotel is extremely close to the station (the platforms are a literal stones throw from the hotel) but due to the railway layout and the River Aire, it is slightly awkward to get to and from. I found later on that you can exit from the south entrance which comes out by the hotel, but you must have a ticket to use this entrance/exit, so you can't cut through from the city. The other issue I had was that there is a venue space on the first floor which can host late-night parties. I was on the third floor and could clearly hear the music from the event below me. This continued till approximately 1am (luckily I had earplugs which deadened the worst of the noise). I would strongly suggest requesting a higher floor if you want an early night.

A pleasant stay.
Managed to park in the hotel car park with ease. It is a first come first serve basis and a little pricey but smack bang outside the hotel. Checked in early with ease, the lovely staff member at the desk made sure we had a canal view room. Nice touch too as we were given a warm cookie. Our room was large, clean and modern with all the facilities we needed. The room was really quiet with no complaints. We obviously heard a few comings and going in the night but nothing you wouldn’t expect. My only moan re the room is the bathroom door needs a bit of oil! The hotel was in a good area and everywhere walkable. After our evening out we decided to head back to the hotel to have a drink in the bar. Unfortunately a group in there were heavily in drink and arguing with each other so we took our drinks back to the room. Breakfast was nice with lots of selection. Again staff showed us where everything was and we were made to feel welcome. I’d recommend the hotel and we would stay again.
