It was a great location in the city.
Nice hotel in a regenerated lockside location . Views of the city, the canal and right into /into the Leeds train station. The rooms were spacious and quiet. Nice warm chocolate cookies were given to you at the check in desk. Staff were friendly and needing a coffee we went to the 13th floor. Not my scene at all. The DJ music was too loud but the staff accommodated us by putting us out of the way. It was my daughter’s birthday so they brought a sparkler and Prosecco ( lovely touch). It was a comfortable stay, but a bit corporate. If you want no frills , just a very good comfortable hotel this is it. We are a bit more artsy and would have liked a better selection of in room hot drinks and perhaps a shower cap each in the bathroom. The rats on the walk back to the hotel made the experience a bit apocalyptic, but that’s not the hotel’s fault. ( I really am very sorry for the homeless people sleeping rough in the tunnels nearby)
