It didn’t start well. Half an hour in reception waiting for them to acknowledge my booking. They accepted that the fault wasn’t at my end. It was their systems… but despite booking and paying a month earlier, I was still left waiting for half an hour with my bags in reception waiting for them to deign to give me a room.
There room itself is comfy enough… small but comfortable, clean, good nights sleep, etc.
I’d expected to be deprived of a kettle.. less so any kind of cup or glass to get a drink in the middle of the night. Not sure if that was deliberate or an oversight, but i didn’t fancy a trip to reception at 2am to find out. I ended up drinking directly from the tap, as my water bottle wouldn’t fit under it.
So… okay, but not very welcoming.
