Desperately in need of a refurb
Booked this hotel for myself for a business trip as the photos looked pretty good. Unfortunately in reality the hotel is very tired looking. One of the cushions on the bed was discoloured, TV had a burned image of the menu, bathroom ceiling flaking and the mattress had a slope on it haha. Staff were lovely though, I just feel like the hotel hasn’t had a refurb since the early 90s and it shows. Wouldn’t recommend the breakfast either.

Seemed very nice in approach. I didn’t need much just a room for a short stay . But the hotel has a few night lights lighting up the courtyard. One right outside my window and due to the curtains not fitting right to the edge I had bright light in through the window the whole night. Why the lights can’t be turned off through the night for a bit if customer comfort is beyond me. Spoilt what could have been a nice dtay

Could have been better
The room was booked for 2 nights. The fan in the bathroom didn't work and the radiator was atcfull blast for the whole time. First night was very uncomfortable despite having the window open as the traffic noise was very loud the second night a member of staff brought me a fan. I was told that maintenance did not work weekends. At no point was I offered a different room but I grateful for the fan as wothout it I wouldn't have had any sleep for the whole weekend.
