Staff was good, the check-in and check-out process was smooth. The property is poorly kept and the rooms are poorly lit. Half the lightbulbs were not working. There was a lot of noise (water moving through pipes and lights flickering). The TV screen was damaged, so there were lines flickering on the screen.

I had admired the original property for over 40 years. When larion took over the former plantation, it just did so much to accent what was already a historical site.

Nestled between a highway and enclosed by a fence, It is completely isolated from any modality of travel other than a car (so Uber is the only option). The property is not well-maintained (I'd give it a 2/5), the room has had some very shoddy renovation (the bath tub finish had a chip and the drain was not screwed down) and the housekeeping stole property from the room. Front desk was unhelpful in recovering the stolen property.

This hotel is an older hotel that has been renovated. Like all older hotels, there are cosmetic issues, but they don't detract from the overall experience. The staff members with whom I had contact were friendly. The bartender was especially friendly. The room was very nice and clean. It was equipped with modern HD TV, microwave, fridge, and a coffee maker. The complimentary breakfast included scrambled eggs, a meet serving, biscuits, and oatmeal, as well as simple pastries and bread. In all, this hotel met my expectations. The bed was comfortable and the room was well equipped with what is needed for a brief stay. I didn't use the pool or the fitness room. While we didn't dine there, the hotel has an in-house restaurants that specializes in Indian food. One suggestion I have is that the staff should be given a polo shirt with a hotel logo and be asked to where khaki or black pants. Being greeted by a person in a baseball cap doesn't lead to the hotel being considered above two stars. However, overall, I'd give this Clarion 3 stars.

The king size bed was extremely comfortable. The only real problem was entering the hotel grounds from the highway and exiting for exiting. There was no real acceleration lane, and it seemed very dangerous. I like the self serve breakfast The laundry was on almost almost impossible to use because of all the steps it took to get approval. When we entered the room, we noticed that one side of the bed. The floor was dirty and obviously hadn’t been cleaned. We asked that that be done, but it was never done. We asked for an additional towel and we never got it. Would you recommend this to someone else no.

It was for most of the late clean however this hotel is super old! Our room smelled terribly, the ac barely worked. Just old all around. Breakfast buffet was very limited. After breakfast they had a religious ceremony you could hear all over the first floor and it was super uncomfortable. Staff was ok.

Disappointed overall, few exceptions

First impression was good, front desk ckerk was very helpful, respectful and all the information was given clearly. Once we got in the room, it had a humidity smell very strong. There were almost nonexistent room service personnel, but when we ordered extra shampoo and soap, it was delivered quickly. Breakfast was good. I most definitely will stay somewhere else in my next trip and then I will compare. I guess that for the price I paid that was the normal.

Room had ants (discovered in morning,on the bed!), a torn bed comforter, 2 roaches and no room darkening curtains,only sheers. Manager stated I would have to go through Expedia concerning a comp or other reconciliation. Pictures were taken and shown to management. Rooms were changed for night#2. Upon checkout,no luggage carrier rack to be found. Typical comp breakfast served from a side room off the bar which I never would have seen had I not searched the entire conference center for a non existent luggage rack. Whether you book through a hotel or a third party,the hotel should immediately compensate such poor service. Clear understanding why rates were low

Clarion was quite comfortable.

The reviews online were generally not favorable, but I found our overnight stay quite comfortable. We were on the second floor which seems to be recently renovated. One review says it's hard to find, not at all, it's right off the highway. I never do reviews, but I think in this case it's warranted.
