Dear Manager, I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with our recent stay at TownePlace Suites Leesburg on Saturday, May 24, 2025. My family and I were unable to sleep due to the air conditioning running continuously throughout the night. Despite multiple attempts to adjust the control panel, it was unresponsive, and we could not turn off or regulate the unit. This issue significantly impacted our comfort and overall experience at your hotel. We kindly request a formal apology and a refund for the night’s stay to address this inconvenience. I had an Expedia confirmation and Marriott would not honor it because they were sold out. Marrott just simply put up their hands and said I don’t understand why Expedia would have available rooms. I don’t know who fault it is but the communication needs to improve between the hotel and this website. They did not even offer to help find another hotel. I had to scramble and make another reservation. It was most difficult since it was bike week. By the way, Expedita charged me for both stay even though Marriott did not acknowledge my reservations. After over an hour on the phone with Expedia, I finally got a credit back.

We love this hotel when visting Leesburg. The location is convenient. The 1 bedroom suite is a great size for a family of three with a small child.

Great staff, disappointing room.

Not what I hoped for, not the Marriott standard I remember. This property is only 3 years old. We were put in a handicap room on first floor with a roĺl in shower. The tiling was very poor, rolled like waves in several places. Sink had minimal space for toiletries and was jammed against towel rack. Kitchen cupboards were very poorly fitted, several doors didn't close well. No luggage rack in bedroom. No ice bucket. Fold out sofa so low i could not stand up from it. Surprisingly uncomfortable room. I feel sorry for the staff who were very nice and professional. Breakfasts were better than average with nice varieties of egg options day to day.

The property was nice. Everyone was friendly. Breakfast was good. Only thing that is worth mentioning is the shower makes no sense. There was only one door and no matter how you arrange the shower head it leaks all over the floor. We went through two towels maintaining the water. Room didnt come with enough towels to deal with shower floor and body. We had to use pool towel. I suggest a full door on the shower. Other than that, it was good. The mix up with being over charged was handled. No problem.

So the pillow was not cleaned properly. It had what appeared to have make up or something brown on it. Thank goodness I thought to bring my own pillow and did not have to use theirs. I showered and the tub would not drain. I told the front desk about it when I left for the evening. When I came back it still was not drained. It stayed that way until I checked out. I can't even say until I checked out because i dont know what happpen after I left. As for the breakfast, i did not make it on time to eat breakfast so I cannot comment on that. I was able to get coffee and that was nice. They had a variety of creamers, which I like. However, I had the one bedroom suite on the second floor on the corner that faced the front and side of the hotel. That was disapointing because i wish i had more of a view. Overall though, the room was nice.
