the property is still very nice but the rooms have seen better days - showers are pretty ordinary and we had problems with TV reception but everything was put aside by the excellent service from our room attendant Ade. all in all we would return and would recommend the property to others.

A great old hotel right on the beach.

Have stayed many times at the Jayakarta hotel over 25 years and feel it’s like home away from home. Though a very old hotel they have renovated some rooms and ours was very comfortable and clean. The staff are very friendly and happy and the grounds kept immaculately. The pool area is spotless and I would highly recommend this hotel.

This is a great relaxing place to stay. A little bit older but its in a great location across the road from Legian beach and in the middle of everything. Breakfast is delicious every day ,the 3 pools are beautiful and refreshing, the lawns and gardens are beautifully maintained. The rooms are a little bit older but still comfortable and clean. Only downside for me is the pool bar closes at 6pm regardless of how many guests are in the pool swimming and or drinking at 6pm they dump many litres of chlorine in ,so if you are out and about through the day and want to relax with a drink from the pool bar at 6.15 forget it. I do believe the pool does open again about an hour after the chlorine dump but not the pool bar. Also i believe you can get a drink from a near by bar and have in the pool but would love to see the pool bar open till 9 or 10pm after all we are on holidays and having a great time. This is my only negative and will be back again next year

It's a nice but typical Bali resort. It's not far from the airport, 30mins. A lot shopping a dining options within walking distance and the beach is just behind the resort, which was great. Liked the landscaping, lush green and well maintained. Breakfast was great and had a lot of options. Lunch and dinner options were there but it was average tasting, nothing stood out. We ate there mainly for of convenience. Overall the resort is aging and needs a bit of renovation, but it's clean and the green gounds compensate for that. Staff was friendly and service was prompt. One incident that left a bad taste was when my son forgot his room key at the restaurant breakfast table in the resort. I returned went to to ask for it at the restaurant and nobody had a clue, they did not have any lost and found protocol. The front desk person was rude and started berating for forgetting it and said they will charge $5 for a replacement key. That's kinda a wierd. But someone form the restaurant staff found the key somewhere and returned it to me. So don't lose stuff there. But overall I would recommend the resort, rooms were adequate and the prices were affordable.

Location is central gardens are well kept staff are friendly rooms sre clean but in need of some work the bathrooms are very old and in need of urgent renovations bath and sink were stained and rusted tiles and doors were water damaged with timber doors rotting there was a strong musy moldy smell when you walked in rooms when reported to front desk reply was not possible as rooms were in comstant use
