The room was a good size, location was great. The amenities could have been better and I think a mini fridge with water bottles would have been ideal as we stayed during one of the hottest nights. A fan was provided but AC would have great. Window didn’t open fully so we were left uncomfortably hot. The lobby was a bit dated and the stairs leading up to our room smelt musty and wasn’t very pleasant.

The rooms are very good, Kitchen area has everything you might need, nice dining area, friendly helpful staff. There is a Co-Op built into the building, so perfect for buying fresh food etc. The thing that means, I cannot give a great review, is I was allocated bedroom 9, which has the fan for the pizza ovens, for the restaurant below, the fan is incredibly loud & is not turned off overnight. I am lucky & can sleep thru anything, but I am pretty sure, most people could not! For me the property was great, close enough to walk into the city, but there are plenty of buses, if you are less able.

Room clean and more spacious than expected. Staff seemed polite and helpful. Hotel quiet but on a busy and very noisy road. Traffic noise through the night. No net curtains. If you want privacy you have to pull blinds down and lose daylight. On-site car park is a joke: only two painted spaces. Up to five cars jammed into a tiny area blocking each other in. You will be parking in a nearby street, where it was easy to find a space. Kitchen/dining area looked clean and well equipped, probably little used. There's a co-op store and burger place under the hotel for obtaining food.

The room was basic but very clean. Good storage facilities, better than many expensive hotels. Reception not always manned but staff helpful when around. Could do with proper curtains rather than roller blinds but otherwise very good. Useful to have kitchen area and common room although latter not very comfortable. Wifi good. Happy with stay, good value.

The bed was uncomfortable u was going towards the middle the toilet had a bad smell which was coming into the room the shower temperature was faulty I couldn't change it and I got burnt there was no one at the desk when we went down to complain we was only given 1 towel on arriving when there's 2 adults

I was expecting something else so was a bit disappointed, the receptionist was very good on the check in day. the beds and rooms weren't made or cleaned, couldn't increase or reduce the volume on the tv, soap had ran out apart from those it was a pleasant 2 days

Flexistay Gables Leiceser

We checked iin and the room we were allocated had previous occupants toenail on the floor, which was also sticky so obviously hadn't been cleaned, and hairs in the bed. We requested to be moved. Shown 3 rooms, none acceptable, one smelt of a smoker. Room we finally stayed in. TV didn't work. Shower was boiling and couldn't be used so were given another to shower in. Disasterous experience but both receptionists were very good and helpful as possible
