Leicester away

Hate that it's cashless so be aware, also if you need a car park space, make sure you book. Not well publicised. Other than that, clean, modern, comfortable, what's not to like?

Comfortable, good breakfast. Fixtures and fitting a little tired. Beware of parking. This is very limited at hotel and you will only be sent link to book 24 hours before arrival. BEtter to book further in advance.

Had tickets for Leicester Tigers so stayed the night before. The hotel is right at the ground and even has its own “grandstand” at one end of the bar where you can relax and enjoy a big screen experience. Our room and facilities were excellent and the breakfast buffet extensive. Will certainly be returning.

Better when Hotel Brooklyn

I have stayed at the Voco and before when it was Hotel Brooklyn. The staff are great from check-in to the service at the bar and restaurant. Threr is however something that changed when the hotel changed from the Brooklyn to the Voco. The rooms are great and the hotel is modern and well kept. Its the menu in the restaurant thats a bit of a let down now though. When as Brooklyn the menu offered some asian influenced small plates and on the whole had more choice. The current menu is ok but is no different from any other hotel. a hotel as good as this deserves a bit more character. The beers can also be a bit flat on occasion. I would however always come back to the Voco.

Nice hotel, poor service

Stayed here last night. The hotel was modern and nice, but the service was poor. I was told I could only eat in the bar lobby as the restaurant was booked for an event. Later, the bar closed, and I was told to order drinks from the restaurant, only to be confronted by the event hosts and asked to leave. Mentioned this at checkout, but all I got was a quick apology. Poor organisation and customer care ruined the experience.
