Very average. Room was quite clean but could do with a refurb. Doors closing so loud at night prevented me from sleeping. No one was on the desk or around when i checked out. I stayed in a different Ibis a few years ago which was much more vibrant,modern and had friendly vibe so compared with this one it was disappointing. Overall not worth the price of stay.

Great location for the city, this is a comfortable hotel with the necessary facilities. Not luxury by any stretch, but does the job well.

Ibis fail to inform you that this hotel also houses assilum applicants. Was greeted with some very unsavoury sights and practices at breakfast. Feel cheated that we were not given this information before booking. I tried to contact Ibis about this but had no response

The rooms are well designed, so although small, they do not feel cramped. Tea and coffee making facilities are provided. The bathroom had a large walk in shower cubicle. My main criticism was the mattress, which was firm but not supportive. It was hard to get comfortable. Our air conditioning was not working, which didn't help either. Reception is also the bar and breakfast room. It is well furnished. Breakfast is good value and there is a wide selection of hot food and continental options. Checkin and checkout was very easy. We were able to park free of charge in the small hotel car park. Staff in the hotel were all very friendly, helpful and efficient. They made our brief stay very enjoyable.

Below budget hotel. Nice staff.

Easy to check in and the staff were lovely. But the room was noisy and bed was uncomfortable, hard and creaky. The location is convenient for the station but the wrong side of town for the nicer restaurants and bars. Stains on bedding, holes in curtains. Ibis pod bathrooms are average but the shower was fine. Old, small TV on the wall. It's a budget hotel, but quality was still below expectations. I'd pay a bit more for something better next time.
