Nice quiet county hotel.
The hotel is about half a mile outside the village up a private driveway. My room was in the courtyard about 75 yards from the main Manor House. The room was excellent and the breakfast which was served in the main house was very good if a little expensive. Would certainly stay there again.

It was all fine, check in was easy and efficient. The room was fine a little dated but nothing wrong. It was quiet, which for me is a big plus. The food was dull, the bar was limited (several options weren't available). The worst for me was the courtyard lighting, it was like daylight through the curtains all night.

My most recent stay was for three weeks, so I got to know some of the staff pretty well, and I can’t say enough about how absolutely AMAZING everyone was! I absolutely LOVED my stay……such an incredibly beautiful and serene setting, and also very conveniently located to everything! But honestly, it was the staff that completely made my visit so special!

The manor rests on a beautiful property with a walkway around the garden full of unique plants. The rooms are well equipped to suit your needs for a comfortable stay and the dining area has a delicious menu and full bar. I highly recommend staying a few nights to enjoy all that the area has to offer, and don’t forget to say hi to GG!

The room we had in the court yard needs a refurb. In the bar, the food was ok but we felt uneasy afterwards as we were the only ones in at 9.30 so we went to our room Mouse trap at side of bed !!!

It was my first stay in Leixlip Manor. Honestly i booked it by mistake, but I must say I was pleasantly surprised. The location was very nice, quiet and peaceful. Loved the old style architecture and open space, plenty of parking. The room was nice and clean and had all you need for a short stay. Will book again if visiting Dublin!

Cosy hotel
The hotel is well-located and surrounded by a large garden/ park. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, though the heating was too high.

Out of the way and quiet but close to town.
Staff was very pleasant and helpful. The grounds were vast and nice to walk about. I am sure in mid season the gardens are amazing but we were there late in the season so much was past its prime, but still very pleasant.

Fantastic staff which I cannot fault, food and service was very good but the rooms in the courtyard were absolutely terrible, rentakill box behind the draws, room was really warn, and the shower was absolutely shocking beyond belief as it had no pressure whatsoever and ran cold with 2 mins.. I did not complain because the staff were lovely and it’s obviously not their fault the facilities are that bad..

The only reason I rated a 4 was was little miss informed about. Dinner. Was told dinner was this time. And breakfast was 17.50. I guess just dumb American but. Was under assumption that dinner was included via that conversation. Great food. But. More choice out side in town. Also the room was very warm. Asked they said couldn't do anything it was the whole building controls not room by room. They saylod open window. I did the whole 4 inches that it was able to open and not more than that. Bright room with blinds open.. But over all good place will stay again

Loved the old building and carriage house. Clean and comfortable bedding. Discovered the bathroom floor had not been swept and room needed dusted. Let the staff know and received an apology email. The property and gardens are really charming and the town of Leixlip is nice to explore. Overall we recommend the manor to stay as long.
