Property is very well maintained, better than even the "higher end" hotels I stayed at - very clean, super comfortable beds, pleasant front desk agent - and all at a great price! Very pleasantly surprised by Howard Johnson - keep doing this!

With the full understanding that this reservation made was within a holiday weekend, the ridiculous cost spent on a "motel/outdoor entrance" experience is unforgivable. The fact that Expedia supports a venue of this (lack of) quality is beyond disappointing. Seriously considering ending my long term relationship with Expedia permanently.

The bed was clean. Other than that I was disappointed with the quality of the accommodations. The room reeked of cigarette smoke and it was marked as a non smoking room. The curtains were filthy, the phone was filthy, the toilet rocked and made a loud noise when you sat down and there is probably more. I can’t believe they had the nerve to charge the rate that I was charged.
