This hotel is okay. Not even close to a 5 stars. Too expensive for what it offers. It is beautiful and has an excellent location, the staff is nice enough but the building has more history than comfort.

It does look a little older in photos, but it is well maintained and very clean and exceeded my expectations. Decent gym. Lot’s of options for breakfast. It’s a well known hotel so most tours and taxis know where it’s at. Walking distance to many things I wanted to see in Almaty. 24/7 convenience store a few steps away from the hotel.
