Great location! Perfect for a visit to Levanto and Cinque Terre. The AC did not work well, but we loved the balcony for morning coffee, fresh air, and view of the town.

Good hotel
Good hotel located in the old city, by the sea. Big rooms and cosy with good breakfast. The parking is outside the old city, 5 minute walk, near the train station.

Loved this family run hotel. Nice breakfast, spacious, clean and comfortable room. Free parking a few blocks away in a secure lot. Super friendly and helpful staff. Would love to come back and stay again.

3 nights poor sleep
The gentleman on reception was very very friendly and gave great information of the area. Unfortunately we had 3 nights of poor sleep due to a very hard bed and pillows plus noise issues. Inside the hotel you hear any noise, talking, bangs moving chairs etc, outside was noisy well into the night and then early morning we guessed deliveries and bin collections. Our room was sad, with an outlook of a raised road just infront. Breakfast was ok, would not stay here again.

Best holiday hotel in Cinque Terre
This was an exceptional stay here. The service, location, hosts, breakfast buffet, extraordinary. We will definitely return next year. The service at breakfast was superb. You must try the local cheeses. And the host makes delicious cakes daily that are not to be missed. The room was spacious and clean, and in order. It was worth the extra night's stay.

Very nice hotel
About 10 minute walk from train station, 15 with luggage. You can use the street to go down instead of the stairs if that works better for you. Good place to stay to see Cinq Terre: many train departures. There is an elevator after five steps at the hotel. The hotel staff was welcoming and very helpful. Breakfast was very good. Homemade cake! Room was small but modern and very functional. There are a few grocery stores around. The larger one being Conad - 5 minute walk. Several restaurants nearby. Would definitely go back.

The stay at hotel garden was great! The person who checked us in was very nice and professional. The hotel was in ZTL but we were able to drive to the hotel and gave our plate number so the hotel can let the police know. The parking is about 10 mins walk but it was nice to have a free parking there. The breakfast was pretty good too with a variety of options. The location was perfect. Many stores, restaurant and bars nearby and the beach is literally a minute away. I would def stay here again.

Can't get any closer to the beach
We had to walk around for a few minutes to find the door buzzer for the hotel, but once we got in everything was great. We were greeted by a personable and knowledgeable young man who helped us with parking and what to do in the area with the time we had. He also gave us all the info we needed for taking the train to the Cinque Terre villages.

Good location
We drove to Levanto and easily found the Garden by the road signs for the hotel as we entered town. A nice point after the usual required searching we had encountered in other towns. The have a gated parking field! No worries about tickets. Nice folks, good breakfast , and well located to walk to the station or see the town. We used the train as all lower paths were closed by weather or construction. And te lot of Ligurean food.

Wow! As soon as we walked into the door, the management was trying to make us feel as welcome as possible and did a thorough job of orienting us to the town and surrounding areas...giving us tips on when to go where and what to avoid and how they could help make our stay more enjoyable. The room was more spacious than expected and was extremely clean. The a/c worked extremely well and the large glass doors opening out onto the balcony were equipped with a metal roll down screen to keep the room shaded during the heat of the day and keep out some of the noise from the street below at night (it did get a little loud on Friday and Sat night). There were chairs on a balcony overlooking one of the main streets below in the town where we were able to enjoy our evenings after putting our son to bed and watch the locals and Italian vacationers enjoying themselves in the street below. The hotel had a couple of bikes that were available for guests to check out at no charge to explore the local area as well as a beach umbrella and beach towels that could be borrowed. They also provided us with train schedules and boat schedules. The breakfast provided each morning was lovely as well and what you would expect from a decent hotel in Europe: ham, cheese, butter, breads, cereal, yogurt, fruit, etc. Levanto was a great base with a kid too...there was a wonderful playground area in the square near our hotel. Great seafood right downstairs!!! Best meals of our Italy trip!

Convenient Hotel for Cinque Terre
Lovely stay, great alternative to staying in Cinque Terre. Close to train station (10 minute walk). Levanto is a lovely little town, very lively and safe.
