Tornado Warning without safe shelter

There were food crumbs on the floor next to the bed that were missed. Biggest complaint and concern is that there was a tornado warning at 2:15am. Signs posted in the hotel said if that were to happen to go to the lobby and we would be instructed where to seek shelter. So we did as we were told only to be left in the breakfast eating area surrounded by windows. Another guest questioned our placement and was told that was where we should go.

We were in a great location, close to where we wanted to be. Staff were fabulous. Breakfast was included but options and taste were limited. Free parking was a bonus.

This would be my 2nd stay here and it is still great as the first one. I appreciate how easily accessible the hotel is to park, to get to restaurants literally a walk away, and not a far drive to the convention center. The employees were also wonderful in assisting our accommodations. I definitely plan to make this my go to place to book.

It was average

The hotel was basically clean, but felt like it needed a facelift. Did not seem as nice as other Holiday Inns. Staff was nice but not engaging. Most did not even acknowledge when we walked in or out of the hotel. Can't really complain but think there are better options. I will say the location was excellent.
