Prior to checking in, I received a message from Wyndham prompting me to complete early check in with IDs and cards, and also confirming the check in time. Upon arrival, the concierge made me give all the information again and then told me check in wasn’t for another 30 minutes (even though I had proof of the message confirmation) but that I could pay $25 for “early” check in?? The rooms looked clean so that’s a plus but the tv didn’t work. The rooms were also extremely dark. Overall left with an odd feeling. Wouldn’t return.

Room was dark and gloomy unless you wanted to open your curtains...to the courtyard. Ceilings black or dark grey. I think I know what they were trying to do with the rustic look. But it failed terribly. Hallways noisy. And breakfast available does not mean breakfast Included which some hotels and motels represent misleadingly I feel. Because I was told breakfast was included. It use to before Wyndham took it over. And I found the staff to be lacking sincerity. You can absolutely tell that it's just her job. And one she doesn't seem to enjoy.

So, we arrived after driving through a rain/snow mix to a hotel with no bar. We booked this hotel because of the bar/restaurant. We definitely expected a heads up about this. Then after going out to eat we got back to our room where the tv , fridge and microwave did not work. Got a new room. No television working, no coffee maker. Got a third room. Went from 2 double beds to a king but everything works. Johnny, hotel desk clerk, went out of his way to fix things. They are supposedly in between owners. However, I feel that Expedia let us down by not giving us a heads up about the changes. Very unhappy after a long drive.

Very clean quiet rooms the indoor pool was just a little bit cool I think it should’ve been heated more. The restaurant that’s there was completely empty. We were the only two in the restaurant the front desk boy was the waiter and just the kitchen cook. The food was absolutely magnificent. Such an odd day. There was hardly anybody in the hotel never seen anybody. We were there for two nights, but like I said, it was quite clean. It was a great . Such an odd day. Very clean nice pool area with video games. The only issue was I think the pool was a little too cold should’ve been heated more.
