One breakfast area (also serves dinner) which is NOT included if you book through Expedia. Otherwise $32/person for a limited buffet. Cool restaurant on property called Mamahunes which is also very expensive but food is good. Beach is on property, less than 5 minute walk. Additional resort fee ($25) and parking fee ($25) both added per day. Added another $200 to our trip which was unexpected. Friendly staff

It wasn’t bad compared to all the bad reviews! I was expecting worse but it is an older hotel but I would stay there again. The only thing is there would be little spiders on the ceiling but they had pest control coming the day we were leaving. Staff are nice, the pools are small but barely anyone went to it while we were there so it was nice & quiet

This experience was absolutely amazing, I’m so happy I chose this hotel for my first time in Kauai! Perfect location and I loved the beach being right next to the hotel with a private cove to swim in!! Wow!! I can’t wait to come back!

Great beach right in front of Hotel! Lydgate beach with its own manmade lagoon was terrific and so comfortable to swim in! Lydgate park always had something going on (party/etc.) Staff could have been nicer/more welcoming. My boyfriend and I travel quite often around the states/islands/country and we both agree this has been our least favorite staff at any resort/hotel/etc we have stayed at. (Besides maid service, very pleasant) The only person that made us feel welcome at the property was “Kurt” or “Kirk” who asked us about skateboarding and made sure we were liking our stay and tried to include us in on seeing his different boards and just have a lovely time! We stayed in the cottages and they were great! Closest to the beach — and you’re not going to be staying at the hotel too much anyway while you’re in Kauai!! Parking at the cottages was VERY tight and (one way???) that would be my only concern about the cottages. Everything else was great.

The Hilton Garden Inn Kauai was conveniently located. The property was really well laid out. So close to the beach and swimming. We were able to walk out of our cottage and walk to the beach in five minutes. Very private and quiet. The breakfast wait staff were so friendly. My only issue was that prior to our arrival I emailed if the Hilton gave any concessions for being kama’aina. I didn’t receive a response. A response would have been welcome. Overall, a very nice visit.
