Would definitely recommend this property! Right next to Lydgate State park which has awesome beaches for everyone! Tiki bar serves very good food and drinks you won’t be disappointed. My wife and I only this time but the grands would love it! Everything over here is expensive so come expecting that and don’t let it stop you!

The property was in easy walking distance to the beach. The staff at Mamahunes and the Garden Grill were excellent. Our only complaints were that our room smelled bad from the moment we got there. We tried to get a different room but were told we would have to check out and then wait 4 to 5 hours to see if another room would be available. Then they asked us to see if we wanted our room cleaned which I then asked wasnt it cleaned before we arrived? We ended up staying and buying room spray and candles to try to cover up the odor. The ther thing which we k ew about before we stayed is that you have to pay a fee to park there but they assume no responsibility if anything happens to your vehicle. We will be trying a new pkace if we ever get to return back to the island.

Lovely resort right on the beach. Very expensive. Charge a $25 US per day Resort Fee for things like a beach towel, access to bikes, etc. the towel should be included. All the other amenities should be optional. We only stayed one night, and couldn’t participate in anything.

We loved to tiki bar that overlooked the ocean. It was a great place for food and drinks. Our room was very spacious and the staff was very attentive. Beautiful property against the state beach. Staff was very nice and rooms were spacious and clean. There are 2 pools and both are a bit small. The elevators are also small and quite dated. The carpet in the hallways is also dated. The tiki bar food and staff was great. Our room faced a maintenance area that could be cleaner looking lol. I would return.

In short : avoid this place. Why? Read below: - be prepared for almost everything to be priced in : a 25$ per night resort fee, a 25$ per night parking fee. - you have plenty of cockroaches as room mates, especially ones that are breeding - things are rusted (bathroom fittings) and broken (bath hooks) - the carpets are terribly unclean and stained. - it appears staff are usually used to endless complaints and have switched off. At checkout I wasn’t asked if I enjoyed my stay. When I prompted the lady saying there were cockroaches in my room, she shrugged and said she has plenty at her place. - I could sense a deep resentment on the faces of the staff - I assume there are being overworked and underpaid. There is a lack of togetherness and hospitality in general. The only positive thing is the access to the beach. But there are plenty of other hotels that give this to you. Go there.

Nice place by the water.

My only complaint is that the latches on the doors are tight enough that when leaving the room one needs to pull the door closed so hard that it makes a lot of noise. In the morning and at night it sounds like everyone is slamming their doors.

Very nice, clean, stylish and updated rooms with multiple charging options. Unfortunately, the streaming services were not functioning so I couldn’t log into Netflix but who comes to Hawaii to watch TV anyway?!? The hotel itself is very nicely manicured and the food was great!!
