The room was damp and smelt awful, the bed felt ‘wet’ because it was so damp - none of us slept well.

It’s a beautiful building and an exceptional location. But I struggle to see how this can be a 4 star. The carpet on the rooms is very very old and stained, the bed sheets are so short that they keep moving about and you end up sleeping on the raw mattress, and the air dryier is one of those wall mounted ones - which I don’t think I have ever seen in a 4 star. I asked whether I could get a normal plug-to-wall one but I was told no (I’m not the most kind of manners)

Great hotel stayed a few times after doing the Dover to Calais crossing. Car park is fab for our rigs as you know they are safe and no hight limits ! Great hotel stayed 4 times now and every time been fantastic ! Can’t wait to come back !

Hotel is located near both train stations and also within walking distance of the city. The hotel itself was clean and had everything we needed. Wee bit tired in places but wasn't and issue. Would recommend.

Great hotel and lovely staff. The bar is vibey and Fun. Air con in the room was dreadful. Needs updating.

Good and easy parking, as well as checkin. Rooms and hotel are a bit old, hence feel a bit dirty, although it is clean. Floor carpet - i dont like.
