My mom and I had a small weekend getaway in Limerick, Maine. The reason for our trip, was to attend a maple syrup weekend event at Hilltop Boilers and hike on Sawyer Mountain. After doing research for a hotel stay, we decided to stay at The Jeremiah Mason Bed and Breakfast. I want to say that our stay was the highlight of the trip! The minute we walked in, Valerie treated us like we were family. She explained all the features of the inn, and asked us what we wanted for breakfast and if we had any allergies or wanted especial requests. It was a very pleasant experience. The inn is in immaculate condition, very cozy and beautifully decorated. We can't wait to go back in the fall for apple picking!
Valerie is such a great host. It was our first ever B & B and did not know what to expect. I would have to say it was a perfect first experience. The home is lovely, the host is great! I highly recommend and we are old, picky, clean freak, snobs!
We stayed for 2 nights the end of September house was clean room was clean and cozy. Homemade breakfast was fantastic.
The Inn keeper/ owner is very friendly and eager to make your stay comfortable.
We plan on returning in the future.
My husband and I had the best time at the Jeremiah mason b&b - Valerie was an amazing hostess, the room was warm and inviting and had all of the essentials . We also got to enjoy fresh eggs at breakfast.
Would definitely make stay again!
Many thanks

A nice place to stay
This is a lovely place to stay in a neat little town. The proprietor is engaging and the food was excellent
We had a lovely time. Plenty to do close by and within a 30-45 minute drive. The home is lovely. Only downside is the steep stairs to the third floor.
Breakfast is lovely with eggs from her chickens.
Valerie, the owner, is extremely accommodating, even finding vegan alternatives for her guests' dining preferences. The property is very attractive, beautifully furnished with an appropriate historic ambiance. Breakfasts were delicious. Valerie takes a lot of pride in her B&B and had the misfortune of opening right at the beginning of the pandemic. She's working hard to get the word out about her establishment and to please her guests. I especially like to support women-owned businesses and the Jeremiah Mason House is easy to recommend.
So many great things to say about our stay. Valerie is awesome! She is great at communicating and messaged me before the stay to find out preferred check in time and dietary needs for breakfast. The house is wonderful! Great architecture, solid, richly decorated rooms, unique. Valerie gave us great info about the house and you can tell she really cares about the house...and her guests. Breakfast was awesome! I had an assignment due for online school and the living room was the perfect place to sit, relax, and get it done. Valerie is very accommodating. We are SO glad we stayed here. Comfortable beds and quiet room added to the joy of staying here.
Enjoyed a great stay at this beautiful, historic home in the foothills of the White Mountains of Limerick, Maine. Valerie is such a wonderful host and makes you feel right at home. She also prepares a great breakfast. Thoroughly had a relaxing time and highly recommend. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks Valerie!

My sister and I loved this bandb. It was historical site. The rooms were clean and welcoming and the food was excellent. The owner was delightful. We would recommend it to everyone who traveled to the area.
Overall a great stay, house is in beautiful shape, antiques on display and demonstrate what great care is taken to keep everything in good condition. Bed is comfy, food was great, and innkeeper was friendly
Three Pros - Great location, good breakfast, and nice cool owner!
Two Cons - Parking is limited to one car per guest (extra cars to be parked on side of street) and the standing shower is tiny that any large or plus size person will not be fitting comfortably enough to have the shower curtain sticking on you if you move around (glass door or heavier shower curtain might be better?).
Overall, I would come back for the weekend stay and breakfast that starts at 8:30am (owner can make to-go breakfast for pre-8:30am departure).
